Room needed some maintenance such as broken handle of a window making it difficult to air room out in day and the door was super stiff and not on runners properly making difficult to open the door especially with a sleeping toddler in one arm. Said daily room service such as towels but there were a couple days we had no clean towels. They did provide dishwashing liquid and dish brush but no tea towel to dry dishes

Took a long time for the heater to heat the room; no heating in the bathroom and no electric blanket on the beds. It is the middle of winter! While it was certainly adequate for one night, it was awkward to wash dishes in the basin. I guess most people would go out for dinner but in the dark, in an unfamiliar city we older couple would have found that difficult. It was easy to heat a meal in the microwave. Keys have to be collected from staff at Avana Motel just up the road, otherwise there were no staff around.

The room looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The dishcloth stank. The bathroom was so dirty. There were marks in the bedding and under the bed and couches were not clean. We found old tissues and other stuff.

Strong incense type smell in the room gave us all a headache had to sleep with doors open, bathroom light didn’t work and no door handle on inside of bathroom. Uncomfortable beds. Check in is down the road, checked us into wrong room. Only plus was they were able to accommodate our trailer as they had rooms that were permanently closed.

The property is clean but needs lots more TLC. The bathroom looks quite new and the kitchen was in good condition also. Having a hot plate and cooking equipment was nice but would have liked a table and chairs to sit at to eat. The front door was old, draughty and generally very flimsy and not secure. There is no noise insultion, so you can hear your neighbours quite clearly. Its one of 3 motels on the road and you have to collect keys at a different location. Not a place I would recommend.

Waited in reception for 20 minutes before being seen by the receptionist that had no manners and demanded everything, room was filthy and not what I had booked for, came back to the accommodation the next day later in the afternoon and rooms had still not been cleaned. Overall I give the motel a bad rating & definitely won’t be staying there again or suggesting to anyone.

Shower was great, the place did the job that we required. If we wanted an upmarket motel experience then we would have paid more to have one. It was more than adequate.
