This rental features a full kitchen (with a dishwasher), perfect for whipping up your favorite dishes, along with plenty of seating for the entire group! The family dogs are also welcome to join in on the fun! Guests of this cabin will also enjoy a firepit, and a spacious, furnished deck with a gas grill. Free WiFi rounds out your home's essentials.

This home is conveniently located in the town of Welches, just a short drive from many exciting attractions, local shops, and delicious restaurants! Head over to the Lower Hunchback Trailhead to hike the trailhead, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and get your fill of fresh air, only two and a half miles away. The Wildwood Recreation Site, only four miles from this rental, is a nature preserve on Mount Hood offering great trails, swimming spots, and fishing!

Peaceful retreat

Our small family very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Close enough to town to access food/provisions and plenty of outdoor activities nearby. We wish we could have stayed longer and would not hesitate to return.

Awesome weekend getaway!

Fun house in a great location. Hot tub & sauna were greatly appreciated after hiking. Don't wait, book it now! My only regret is that we didn't get snowed in here and need to call out of work for a week.

Great view and location!

This place was pretty simple, but the fact that it was on such a great viewpoint was incredible. There was a great outdoors space with a gas grill, hot tub, fire pit, and lots of deck area.

A great, quiet place to get away

This property is a quaint place to get away and enjoy some nature. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet and feeling of privacy. And the hot tub and sauna were great after a day enjoying nature

Comfy Cabin

The cabin was a great place to stay for a few nights. There were some great hikes nearby and the area around there is beautiful. The days were very hot when we were there but the cabin itself wasn't way too hot, though it did deter us from using the hot tub. I'm sure it'd be a very nice place to be in the winter too.

The perfect family getaway

A family of 4, 4yo and 2yo, and 2 dogs. We loved our stay! We went to the salmon river one day, mirror lake another, then trillium lake, Timberline lodge and lastly zig zag falls. The girls loved the hot tub and the cozy loft most. My husband and I loved the sauna and the deck. It was cozy and just what we needed! Thank you for such precious memories

Nice cozy getaway

Listing was very accurate. Very pleased with location to hiking - though closer to 20-25 min walk to salmon river trail - and views. Only thing is it would have been great if the heat had turned on before arriving. It was only 55 degrees and took until the next day to get into the 60s with the heat and fireplace turned on.

Cute getaway cabin!

The cabin was so well stocked and furnished! We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as extra linens. We loved having a hot tub, so nice! It even snowed a tiny bit we were sitting in the hot tub. One thing that would’ve been helpful is a check out list with instructions on where to put trash, etc. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very nice cabin

It was perfect for what we needed. A couple fixit needs but overall well taken care of. Very low shower for a 6 foot tall person. Not even chest level. That is about my only knock on the place. Beautiful overall

I had a wonderful surprise the first morning when I stepped out on the porch. A bear opened the bear proof trash can and went through the trash from the previous guests. It ran off into the woods as soon as it saw me but I thought it was pretty cool minus the mess he made. There were also so deer that walked through the parking lot one day.. Nice sitting in the hot tub after a hike.

Welches Cabin

Overall the house was in decent shape. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook meals. As others have mentioned, the floor boards are in desperate need of attention, we moved rugs around to cover all the areas where they were sticking up to avoid tripping. The hot tub was great! Clean and plenty of towels provided for use. Disappointed that the sauna was out of order during our stay and that we were not notified prior to checking in. Would also have appreciated knowing that a burn ban is currently in place which meant we couldn't use the fire pit. Beds are not the greatest, they are a bit lumpy and uncomfortable.

Gross - not clean

The cabin was gorgeous. The view was gorgeous. But that does not change the fact that the home was filthy. The bedroom had puked cat food and cat litter in carpet, which I had to clean up. The pots and pans were filthy and had to be scrubbed before we could even cook. And when we went to bed, the white sheets had dirty paw prints on them. So much for relaxing. It was just gross. Not ok. Notified vacasa and was told they would help asap. Never heard back. Hunted them down again couple days later and they refunded some fees. Not adequate for this unacceptable experience. :(

It was ok. Wished they had A/C. Spiders were present in the house and shower needed to be cleaned better, body hairs were present. TV’s need satellite access. Netflix was the only thing available.

Keep trash secure - bear encounter!

Other than the nosy (but kind) elderly woman neighbor who stopped by unannounced a few times and a visit from a bear, this is a lovely home and secluded for privacy. We were visited by a young adult male brown bear and it tore into three unsecured trash cans. House needs some more secure trash enclosure to keep them out. The house is great though and the hot tub is super clean and everything is comfortable. Full kitchen, nicely stocked pantry and comfy beds.
