"Unser Aufenthalt in Bingen war wieder einmal erste Sahne:) Die Ferienwohnung großzügig, optimale Raumaufteilung für zwei Paare oder Freundinnen, da zwei Bäder. Schönes Geschirr und gscheide Weingläser, super!Alles fußläufig schnell zu erreichen, wir kommen wieder.Kleine Anmerkung: eine zweite Garnitur Handtücher für jeden Gast wäre toll, man duscht doch öfter, da viele Wanderungen unternommen werden oder man vom Tanzen beim Winzerfest durchschwitzt ist:)Ansonsten alles toll!!! "This hotel was further from Cochem than we hoped for. I booked two rooms for one night at least four months in advance requesting large windows that open. We got one room with a very tiny window only, and one room with a medium size window. The staff was very nice and apologized for not meeting my request saying "they didn't know how this happened". The hotel was full that weekend. At least the windows opened. Also, our room had a terrible smell. Apparently, the drain pipe in the middle of the bathroom floor was the culprit. The lady at the desk poured some cleaner down the drain with a few buckets of water. We then covered the drain with a towel and went to the store to get a car scent hanger to place on top. We went to the restaurant for dinner and waited an hour and a half for our meal. They were very busy that night and apparently not prepared for the weekend (May Day). The meal was nice in spite of the wait. The most positive aspect of our experience was the woman at the desk who tried her best to fix things for us. "

"Walking distance from train station. It takes about 8 minutes with light bags. Walk on the right side over river, then use underpass tunnel- go left through tunnel The tunnel was safe. The hotel is near the Rhine River. Rooms were clean. No A/C, but fans are in the room as needed. Very friendly and helpful staff Did not eat breakfast. Fruit and water are provided in the lobby."

"This is a wonderful hotel set on a hill next to the vineyards … family run, their attention to detail shone everywhere. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. Our room was large and clean, as was the up-to-date bathroom attached. We had a small balcony off our room that was perfect to sit with a cold drink after arrival (though there are plenty of additional welcoming spots both inside and outside the hotel). We have enjoyed a fabulous dinner that evening in their on-site restaurant- the stuffed zucchini was one of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve ever had and the white asparagus was amazing. Breakfast was also quite good and the staff did an excellent job keeping everything filled and tables cleaned. Highly recommend!"
