「They over booked themselves. This was a very special weekend. All hotels within 30 miles radius are sold out for Marian’s Day weekend. At the arrival. No one there to check in. All they have the sign with the name and phone numbers. I called them 15 times. Left the voicemail and even texted them. Nothing. They’re ghosted. And charged me for the night that I didn’t even receive any service.」

「The Guest House in Carthage is your basic 1960’s Motel that has been renovated with updated interiors and a good kiss of maintenance on the outside. Everything was clean. Nothing was particularly special, but it was what I needed near the end of a long motorcycle journey. The gentleman who checked me in was professional, kind, and polite, even lending me his carport to protect my bike from the elements and provide a modicum of security. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it...

「The room was clean. Didn’t like the beds were like sleeping on the floor they were so hard. The air was not on in the room and it was 97 degrees outside and took forever to cool the room down. Also said they put the money on hold and it took it out of my account immediately and I still have not received my deposit back even though we hardily used anything in the room not even the tv. And we had 4 people in the room and only enough coffee for 2 and not enough sugar or creamer for 1 cup. Had to...
