As a couple that travels a lot and uses all types of different accommodations, we are picky about cleanliness, I guess you could call us somewhat “boujee” lol at the new generation slang, anyway, everything was top tier. We left our five year old with my in-laws, but upon arrival it was quite clear that this place accommodates families- child safety gates, games, surge protectors etc. the breakfast nook was such a nice touch and the view… chefs kiss We were hoping to stay another night, unfortunately for us, the place was already booked; but Daniel went above and beyond to give us recommendations in the surrounding suburbs. Thank you so much Daniel, we couldn’t be happier with our stay and we absolutely will be back!!

Great vacation at Mon Tresor- we love Weaverville and this home just added to the charm- the hosts were very helpful with our questions- they had everything we needed in the AM and loved the details like snacks and coffee! Will be back again!

Great mountain cabin for a couple or small family. Daniel was very attentive and provided everything to make this stay a great experience for us. Highly recommend staying at Mon Tresor when visiting the Asheville area.

The place was conveniently located right by Weaverville which we ended up spending more time in than Asheville, wonderful little town! Super comfy memory foam beds (meant to see what kind of mattresses they are). Great hot tub and view of the sunrise from the house! Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are back in the area!

Beautiful views, best sleep, great host

My family (2 parents 1 teen) enjoyed our 4 nights at Mon Tresor! Loved waking up to those views from the top floor. The welcome binder was very helpful—lots of great suggestions for restaurants and activities. Instructions were clear and also included photos for extra helpfulness. Host was always quick to respond.Home is in a great location. Close to charming Main St. with great food options and cute shops. We treated ourselves to Well Bred Bakery almost every morning.Mattresses were amazing. Best sleep I’ve had in a while.Couple notes for anyone thinking about booking:- Primary bedroom is on different floor from guest bedroom, in case that matters to families with young children.- Driveway is at a steep incline. Anyone with mobility issues could have an issue getting from the car to the front door.All in all, it was a very nice stay and I’m glad we booked it! Thank you!

Can’t say enough about this host and house!! Extremely communicative, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house was so well thought of when traveling with little ones (baby gates, outlet covers, high chair seat, etc…). 10/10 experience and would highly recommend!

Mars Hill Meeting/Mountain Fun

We were here for a meeting, but had so much fun shopping and eating in the best places in Weaverville and later in Asheville. This house is so convenient to everywhere!

Great location and view

Stayed here for a few days and was easy to walk into downtown Weaverville even though the beginning doesn’t have a sidewalk. Highway was easily accessible. House was as described, comfortable, and perfect.

Gorgeous View!

My husband and I spent a week at this lovely Weaverville rental getting to know the Asheville area. Beds were very comfortable, everything was very clean, kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were stocked with everything a guest could need from hair conditioner to toilet paper. The view is really breathtaking and is truly a treasure! Communication with owner was excellent: he was highly responsive when needed. Would stay again!

Modern Mountain House

Our family had a wonderful time at this lovely modern mountain house. The view was breathtaking. The home was clean and well appointed. The kids enjoyed the toys and board games. We appreciated the child friendly furniture, hot tub, and EV charger. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Anniversary Get Away

Came up to go to the Biltmore for our 20th anniversary. Wanted a nicer cabin for the occasion. This place hit all our needs. Beautiful property, clean and great communication with owners. Would visit again.

Too many steps!

Where we enjoyed our short time and have real complaints, the steps were so much more than we thought. Older folks should know there are 16 steep steps to climb, with only one rail, to get to the living space. If I had known, we would not have stayed. I did try to contact Daniel, I was not successful. A package came for Daniel. You should let people know where lite bulbs are located. We only had one small light that worked in the bedroom. The fan light appeared to have a short in it. The only other suggestion we have is it would be nice to have a convenient charging station for phones and IPads.

A perfect, Asheville-adjacent getaway

For our first visit to the Asheville area, we wanted to stay somewhere close and convenient, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy quiet, private nights. This property couldn't have hit the mark better, and it exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, coziness and comfortability. We loved having the modern, full kitchen available to whip up a quick meal, and it was even better enjoying them from the dining and patio tables, which feature spectacular views. The property manager was extremely responsive and eager to assist, had we needed anything. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place with all the amenities you would need during the stay

The place was very clean. It was well stocked with almost anything you would need on a vacation. The communication with Daniel, the host, was excellent. The bright colors used in the house including the walls, furniture and decor makes the place feel fresh, and keeps you relaxed. Would certainly recommend this place to others, and would love to stay here again if we visit Asheville again!

We traveled to N.C. For the first time. We found a gem in Mon Tresor! The view was spectacular, home was comfortable and the hosts include a lot of personal touches. They are very attentive to communication and help you feel right at home. The location is very well situated to whatever you want to do. Then return for quiet Mountain Views.

The best place ever!

Stay here!! It’s so beautiful. Has everything you need. A quick drive to Asheville and short walk to Weaverville for coffee or bakery in the morning/lunch. We will absolutely be back. The views were stunning. We were sad to leave.
