"Better than expected "

"All was adequate. We really went for the view, the sunsets were magnificent, and worth the price.The TV is very old and needs replacing, as does the DVD player.The rest of the house was clean and comfy, except for the bedroom lamps with cords that could not reach an outlet."

"Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and well laid out. Hallway needed some vacuuming. Parking was plentiful and seemed safe. Lobby was more than adequate and free breakfast was provided. Breakfast could have had a little more variety, but was OK. While the surroundings were mostly farmland, it was convienient to the highway and multiple gas stations and a mini market plus Starbucks and a sandwich shop. Overall, above average and reasonable price for the area."

"The staff are always nice, friendly and accommodating. I stay here when I’m in town at least every other month. Some of the rooms, the bed isn’t the most comfortable but some of the beds like the one I nose recently experienced were great. Always a pleasure. "

"High marks for this place!! Everything was perfect. The view and beach access could not have been better. Our host was very accommodating…good communication and easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. We will definitely go there again!"

"We have stayed at a million California coast homes, and I have never had such a considerate, responsive, and hospitable host. Abi is awesome. The home itself is cozy, very clean, and comfortable. It is not drafty like so many beach homes. Space heaters and extra clean blankets. Great bedding, very comfortable. The spa was fabulous. The primary bedrooms are on the lower floor, connected by a spiral staircase to the upper floor. A person who has mobility issues (or a very tall person) might have a little trouble with that, but it was safe for kids and they LOVED the bunk. The views are unobstructed and breathtaking, in a private lovely neighborhood and the beach is right in front of the home. You can easily access the private beach via a set of steep staircases (which would give a person in good health a reasonable workout but our six and three year old children did great). The location of this home is perfect. We will stay here again hopefully, because it is in easy reach of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Capitola but not plagued by the busyness of these areas. Our best days were spent just at this home enjoying the beach and views, cooking meals in the lovely kitchen and taking walks around the neighborhood after many hours at the beach. "
