"This cabin is an absolutely perfect escape. Beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful. The cabin itself is cozy, with all the modern conveniences with a woodsy cabin vibe. Mankato, MN is nearby for anything you may need. The cabin is able to comfortably house 8 people with plenty of room indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed an evening in front of the fire ring listening to the birds and wildlife. There is a lot to see and explore in the woods around the cabin. If the opportunity ever avails itself, our family would stay here again. We thank the hosts for all their work to make this the most enjoyable stay. Thank you."

"Like staying at a resort! Very clean and newly updated throughout. The kitchen has all new and modern appliances with all the cooking utensils and cookware needed to cook any meal. This is by far the most well stocked kitchen we’ve seen at any rental. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms had great showers and everything else needed. The neighborhood is quiet but close enough to Mankato. Amy is a great host and provides a top notch house. "

"There were people drinking beer and playing loud music in the parking lot all night, even after asking to turn it down at continued. The sheets stunk and clearly had not been washed probably for several visits of other people. There was hardly any breakfast to be had, there was no breakfast attendant, and when going to the front desk to ask, if anybody was the attendant, one girl pointed at the other and she just said we’re out. "

"Great stay during graduation weekend on campus. We were appreciative of the small details-the grad goodie bag with a mini sparkling cider bottle, noise maker, candy, and small Kleenex that had a grad theme. They also had carnations that families could take for their grads. Very thoughtful. All staff was great! Breakfast that was included with our stay was great and included many choices. It was very good every morning during our 3 night stay. Room was spacious and clean. Cons: The EV charger wasn't monitored very well and a car had been connected during the day and overnight. Multiple people were waiting to charge their vehicles. Maybe on busy weekends, there should be a charging limit? Regardless, it was so great to have that luxury right in the parking lot. No elevator in the hotel so make sure you ask for a bottom floor if you have someone in your party with mobility issues. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want something extremely close to campus."

"The receptionist argued with me what type of cc I was using like I didn’t know what I have. The hot tub was empty. The shower handle no matter where you set in dropped to the bottom so the option was burning hot or super cold. The breakfast hours are posted on the wall and there was hot chocolate and coffee no food whatsoever over an hour after it was supposed to start. The walls are super thin and you hear everything from the rooms around you."
