Exceptionally memorable ...

Incredible place. We were looked after very well by all staff. We had a fantastic stay. Food is lovely. It's just a chill out place ... one with nature. A must visit when you are travelling to or/and from Kruger National Park. All being well, we shall return.

First night in ZA, wonderful hideaway, unfortunately we had booked one night only (planning error), we should have stayed 2, 3 or for ever. Seriously, I could very well imagine to stay for a week or two. Very nice personnel, friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious. But, if you need bars and clubs, definitely not the place to go!

Amazing, peaceful stay

Saragossa really was an amazing place. We stayed two nights at the lodge, and loved every minute. Every detail was thought of, they were so accommodating and the entire staff was very kind. We left on my birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it a very special day. Thank you Saragossa for the wonderful time! It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Great place to start or end your holiday to Kruger

The Saragossa Game reserve is a very beautiful and romantic small lodge situated in private game reserved. There's giraffes, hippos, ostriches, gnoe and many antilopes. We stayed in the lodge on our way towards the Kruger Park. It's only 2.5 hrs away from Johannesburg International Airport and the lodge is close to the Panorama route. We received an upgrade and stayed in a nice suite with a stunning view of the game garden. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. The surrounding was so peaceful and surreal. The staff was great, amazing service and the food was excellent. All fresh from their own farm on the estate. We will definitely book this lodge again on our next trip to South Africa. It's a great place to start or end your holiday on your way from or to the airport of Johannesburg.

Don’t expect to see giraffes and my major gripe is the pool is in really poor condition and dirty which is a shame as it in a beautiful setting The food is nice but has extremely limited choice
