"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. "We had a lovely stay. Very friendly and helpful. We had a accessibility room because of my walking difficulties. And it was very big and well maintained. Only thing wrong in that bathroom was where the bin was as a disabled person I found it very hard to go under the sink and put my rubbish in the little bin. Maybe leave it near the toilet or out in the open so it's easier to reach. One other thing is maybe have 2 pillows on the bed. Our room had 1 pillow each we had to ask for extra. Everything else was wonderful. Breakfast was a basic buffet breakfast they are all the same, but it had plenty of choice. Fresh orange was very nice too. Will stay again. And we notice they have these hotels in different countries so may try them out in a different country. Well done everyone at Derby..."

The pool was great, the room size impressive, and the staff consistently helpful and kind, even while juggling multiple roles.Refurbishment and cleaning need more attention. There was no chef in the bar so no hot food available, and breakfast was very basic with limited choice. Plug access near the beds could also be improved."
