"The pool smell was so strong, it burned my eyes just waiting to check in. the breakfast was cold, even though they filled it right before dishing up. the fridge wasnt stoked for breakfast."

The shower curtain in the bathroom wasn't the correct height for the rod, leaving about 4 inches exposed between the bottom of the curtain and shower base causing the bathroom to flood. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay."

"For the price, you really can't complain. There are a few issue's but to be expected in a place for this price. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Was a bit concerning to see a smoke alarm in the room with sharpie date of 2017.. Electrical outlets were old and worn to the point plugs were very loose and would make lights flicker if the cord was slightly bumped when trying to plu in a phone charger (which had a hard time staying plugged in). Old/loose electrical outlets like that ARE a potential hazard. Eug-Spfld FD are you not making inspections!! Linens were fresh and clean. Old electric baseboard heat takes awhile to heat up, but does put out plenty of it. Multiple pillows of different type on the bed. Hopefully you find at least one that is OK for you. (I did). Bed mattress is very firm, probably equivalent to about a 100 in sleep number setting. 3 stars may be a bit harsh for a rating. Given the fair price, I will stay again when travel dictates . "

"This hotel was clean and comfortable but overall my stay was very odd, which is why I'm giving a lower number of stars than I might normally give a Marriott hotel. First of all, the amount that i was charged does not match the amount on the receipt that I was emailed. It's about $30 more, and I'm assuming it's because I was charged for breakfast, even though I paid extra for a breakfast voucher. Also i tried to order a beverage at the bar, but the cocktail wasn't available on their POS system. I shrugged and ordered a second option, which also was unavailable on the POS. Giving up, i walked to the gift shop to pick up some forgotten essentials... and THEY weren't on the POS system either. The first time was easily forgivable, the second time it was annoying, but the third time had me walking away, shaking my head, wondering why they were even pretending to sell things if people couldn't actually have them. When i got into the shower, there was zero conditioner, and I was also disappointed to find that there weren't any SD ports in the room for easy charging. There are a lot of very good things about this property too! The pool was smaller, but clean and comfortable with an abundance of fluffy towels. The location is great, my car was parked safely for the night, and our room was overall pretty comfortable. The restaurant was pretty good too! They have a smaller menu but everything on it looked good. I will most likely (warily) try staying at this property again sometime."
