"Awsome trip bathroom was right beside our cabin lol although we didnt use most there ammenities they had everything grills fire pits and also a store that's awesome in my book great place in the tennesse mountains loved iteven saw a bear or two thankyou blackbear resort for an awesome time!!"

"The cabin is right off the highway so very easy to navigate the area. We spent evenings on the deck...comfortable chairs and surrounded by trees. The downstairs bedroom is quiet and the bed is very comfortable...we slept great! I like that there is a washer/dryer....we washed our swimsuits and towels so the car didn't smell like lake water on the way home! The furniture upstairs is comfy...we watched a bit of tv in the morning and it was nice to curl up on the couch (right under the air unit so VERY nice.....i love snuggling under a blanket while my husband is nice and cool). We didn't cook, but I have NEVER stayed at a place that is as well-stocked with coffees/spices/basics as this one! All in all...great place to land while we explored the area!"

"The inside was nicely decorated and clean. The outside needed some work done. There was some loose boards on the deck and walkways in the front. Was nice sitting on the porch. Didn't like the idea that we had to take sheets off bed , take towels and put everything in hamper and trash out to trash can. Its very hard to see where the driveway is at night. Needs a better marking!"

"Such a beautiful house. The house was fully stocked with everything you need, which was such a pleasant surprise. The host was quick to respond to any questions. The best part of our stay was sitting on the porch which wraps around most of the house."

"This is my second time staying and it was just as amazing as the first. The location is off the beaten path but close enough to Big areas that you can go to the city or do shopping or stay completely rural. I will stay here anytime I come back to this region."

"We had a great stay at Hampton Haven. It is close to hiking trails and Wautaga Lake. It is also perfect for a larger family. We had a lot of room to hang out in the beautiful kitchen/family room area. The wrap around deck and fire pit area was a wonderful bonus and we enjoyed both. The kitchen is well stocked and having extra supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags was also a very convenient and appreciated."

"This house is awesome! Full of character…. You could walk into a room 5 times and the 6th time you’ll notice something else as far as decoration and/or construction. We stayed in July of 26 when most area lakes were very low, this one included, so we weren’t able to use the boat slip, however Tom referred us to the neighboring subdivision who not only allowed us to use their boat slip, but they allowed us to store our boat trailer there for a one time fee. The lake is beautiful and we had a blast tubing, swimming and exploring. Our boys LOVED the loft/doghouse room and I loved the waterfalls, both inside and out! The roads are a little steep and narrow, so keep that in mind if you’re towing anything, but then again, it’s the mountains of Tennessee! We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet stay on a beautiful lake! :-)"

"We had an amazing time during our week-long stay — this property is exceptional. It is beautifully appointed, extremely clean, and located in a very scenic area. Overall, the house exceeded our expectations. It offers a great layout for a family with kids, especially with the upstairs bedroom, full bathroom and loft space. The host was extremely personable and offered assistance with many wonderful recommendations in the area. He even made himself available by phone to answer our questions during our stay. We HIGHLY recommend this property. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area! Many thanks to the host for his impeccable hospitality!"
