The residence is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within the HIstoric District of Alexandria VA. Just half a mile from the famous King Street. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Potomac River Waterfront where you can walk/run/bike along the Mount Vernon Trail and enjoy beautiful views including The US Capital, Washington Monument and National Harbor. Enjoy live music and explore more than 200 independent restaurants, boutiques, and museums on King Street.
Getting Around:
King Street Metro Station is less than a mile away. You can walk 10 or so minutes to King Street and catch the free trolley to get there!
There are two bus stops within a 3-minute walk from the house.
There is a Capital Bikeshare rack on the corner of Franklin and Washington (next to District Taco), about a 4-minute walk from the residence.
15-minute drive to the National Mall/DC.
Guest can also walk to the Old Town Waterfront and take a water taxi to DC, or sightseeing cruise.
