The accommodations were top notch, comfortable, clean, and just a beautiful place to stay. It is right next to a lake and a walking path which we couldn't take advantage of due to the winter weather but it would be a draw for us to return during warmer months.
Great laundry set up. Large bedrooms. Nice TV’s. Very roomy and well furnished. Could use a better dining table set up. The pub table in the kitchen is not comfortable for older people. They did have very comfortable fold up outdoor chairs and a fold out table for extra seating at mealtime.
We’ve stayed at this property before, and it’s always very clean, well stocked, and we are always very comfortable. The owner Mike is great to work with and responds to any questions immediately. Holiday travels can be exhausting and it’s so nice to have this property as our Oasis when visiting MN.
Very well thought out living area in an old grain exchange. Very clean and quiet. Walk out to a small lake. Very easy and helpful host that made sure everything was correct.
We come to town every year for a memorial event for my fallen friend and brother-in-arms, and this secluded and calm location was an ideal spot to unwind and decompress from the highs and lows of such an event. A serene and comfortable spot for any small family.
A great place to escape after a day of helping family cleanup after the floods in Waterville.
Located across the street from Ace Hardware and great boutique shops as a diversion. Try Lush cakes for coffee
We enjoyed our stay in Waseca. Cool unique property. Nice accomodations with full kitchen. Cute quiet town with many things to do near by in town (and within hour drive). Would definitely recommend local Mexican 🌮 restaurant El Molino on the main street. Beautiful lakes and walking trails. Would stay again. 🙂
While historial on the outside, the interior was stunningly decorated. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with beautiful dishes and everything we needed for cooking, We enjoyed the downtown shops, which were within walking distance.
Nice walking trail right out the front door.
My family and I enjoyed the time away from the twin cities in a beautiful and quiet get away.
Thank you to the owners for sharing their place with us.
I’ve never before stayed at a place like this! An old agricultural property adapted to a B&B type place!
Who’d have thought it?
The close lake is fantastic!
Inside you wouldn’t know it was ever anything else!
A truly unique experience!
Loved it!!! Nice having trail at lake for morning walks. Lots of space with full kitchen. Spacious separate bedrooms with washer and dryer a plus. It was clean and inviting. Walking distance to great shops in downtown. The owners were so nice, friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend others to stay as well. Thanks Mike!
Unique!!
Very nice 2-bedroom unit housed in an old brick mill.
Very quiet.
Very clean and well kept.
Everything is as shown on the website.
Neat town with a paved hiking trail right next to the property.
Loon Lake next to property with larger Clear Lake about a mile away with hiking trails around both.
Several great restaurants nearby.
Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Very spacious and well-equipped rental. As a couple, never used the spare bedroom. Especially liked the location. So close to downtown but very
private. Picturesque setting on SE edge of Loon Lake. Paved trail next to rental was perfect for walking our dog.. Thanks to Mark Denn for taking the time to get us on track with the smart TVs
After traveling 10 hours and visiting multiple family members from Iowa to MN, we arrived at the property. My husband flipped on the TV flopped down on the sofa and said, “This is way better than a hotel!”
The property owner Mike is always great to work with, the cleanliness of the property is always spotless. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensil's needed for holiday cooking. The location is beautiful, and unique.
We will definitely be back!
It worked out very well for us. If I had not seen pictures of the property, I never would recognize it as a place to stay. No signs or any indicators of what it was. Not the normal look of an apartment on the outside but very nice and comfortable on the inside. So, yea, very close to things downtown and even across town. We walked to the Fair grounds for the Farmers Market and school garage sale. Then we walked out to Clear Lake and made a lap all around it and back to the apartment. Owner or someone provided outstanding weather, lots of sun, mild temperatures and no rain. We will be going back
We had a short stay in Waseca to get out of the cities for a long weekend. We loved it! This rental was CLEAN, welcoming, easy to get to, comfortable, and relaxing. I could go on and on- it is the type of rental you hope for!
It was very private and felt very tucked away, but yet you are in town and could walk almost anywhere (downtown area). It had a great, well furnished kitchen, big living room, big bathroom, and two good sized bedrooms with huge TVs. I loved the uniqueness too! There are great walking trails just out the front door, and a spot to sit by the lake.
Waseca overall is very welcoming- there are amazing breweries (Ward House and Half Pint), amazing lunch places (Johnnie Bean's was our favorite) and for dinner Pepito's Pizza (by Ward house) and the Boat House were our favorite. El Molino is highly recommended but we didn't get a chance to eat there. For Caribou Coffee lovers, Cool Wave in Waterville is worth the drive- yummy yummy.
There are two awesome lakes- I don't know the rules of Loon Lake, but Clear Lake would be awesome for people with a boat. Tons of parks in town too.
Communication with the owner was A+.
We stayed at the Brick & Vine for a week when we moved to Waseca while we were waiting for our closing, and for belongings to be delivered, and it was truly wonderful! Can't wait to see the property when everything is in bloom. We had a trailer with us and there was plenty of room to turn around and park on the concrete pad, and the seclusion was nice as your vehicle(s) are mostly hidden from the road.Arrival and entry was simple, the property was immediately comfortable and cozy. The updated kitchen and included washer/dryer were beyond amazing to have for the entire week while moving from out of state. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable, though were definitely a little warmer when the heat was on; be sure to bump the thermostat down a few degrees when you head to bed if you don't like to sleep hot. Modern TVs in each room, which we logged in to and installed the apps we use.Our 3.5yo enjoyed the stay as well as there was plenty of room, and the States puzzle was a big hit!The only downside was the water pressure. The shower was decent, and my wife said it was enough to wash her hair, but if the washing machine or dishwasher is running, the pressure is reduced drastically. Even after flushing the toilet the drop in pressure while washing your hands is quite noticeable while the tank refills. Also, the water in the kitchen took a minute or longer to get hot in the winter, but the temperature was certainly not an issue once it got hot.Thank you!
Our stay at the beautifully renovated historic Waseca Mill was perfect! Close to everything and also located right on a greenway across from gorgeous Loon Lake!
