"We paid the €21 for a breakfast twice. Get there early for the best choice. Some hot food. The hotel is a 10minute walk to the town centre. It’s a nice little town. We were there to meet up with a relative but did some tourist stuff. The 45 min boat cruise for €6.5 each was well worth it and comes right past the hotel. We managed to get a parking space on site. Icecream shops in town lovely."

"Property was a perfect location for my trip. Fun Quirky Hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the bar and restaurant in the evening. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Train station was just a short walk away. Two stops to City Central and One stop to Zaanse Schans Windmills. Once we learned to navigate the trains it was very easy to get around. Trains were clean and safe."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, a proper coffee machine, good temperature as it was a very hot weekend. We hired bikes from the hotel to cycle to see the windmills and parks and the train station was a 2 minute walk and 12 minute ride into Amsterdam. There are a few lovely breakfast options in Zaandam. Perfect location, could have asked for better, and fantastic value for money. Would absolutely recommend."

"Please whatever you do, DO NOT stay here. Pay a little extra and go somewhere else. If I could give this place negative starts then I would. The whole room smelled like body odor. The wall paper was peeling off. The bathroom door handle was broken and we couldn’t open the door at times. The walls were thin, we could hear our neighbors daily. There was mold in the bathroom ceilings. There was never anyone at the front desk."

"A modern clean room - with excellent staff, that were friendly and very efficient. The hotel is within the city of Zandaam for all the amenities you could wish for, and has a great direct railway line connecting Zandaam to Amsterdam in only 12 minutes"
