「Wamoon Retreat was absolutely perfect, we loved our stay! Our family had given up trying to get accommodation at Tidal River during busy periods and so we found this beautiful place instead and so happy we did. 「We love Sandy Point. Especially out the back road looking out onto the grazing paddocks, such a lovely aspect. The cabin was a perfect size for 2 to 4 people. Backyard was wonderful and one thing I will point out which is so important…. the beds were comfortable and the shower was great with really strong pressure. Perfect! 」

「The clothes dryer is a fire hazard and needs to be removed. Hand towels/ face washers and the only tea towel supplied were frayed and stained. The outdoor area and BBQ were filthy, covered in cobwebs and unusable. All kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery and glasses were dirty and had to be washed before using. It was great having two separate lounge areas and a generously sized dining table – perfect for larger groups. However, some practical issues affected our stay. The single beds were too short for taller adults (6ft), and with only 2 toilets – one being in an ensuite – sharing between 10 people wasn’t ideal.
