"We left a very very disappointing trip to Lucasville losing the hundreds we paid and came to The Carlisle Inn in Sugar Creek instead. Such a vast difference!! So beautiful and clean!! "Cute place, nothing negative to say about it. The jacuzzi tub was great. The shower was amazing. Plenty of hot water. Nice, comfortable bed. The adjustable light in front of the bed was unique and I thought it was a nice touch. I would recommend to others and I would also come back!"

We visit the Holmes county area several times each year. We enjoy the shopping, the restaurants, the beautiful scenery and rarely ever miss a play at the Ohio Star Theatre. We have stayed at several of the hotels and never have had a bad experience.

I just love all the unique shops and eatery’s and Amish Country in general. I live only a little over an hour away in Lexington, Ohio so I hope to return again.
