We've added two more beds!!! Tatanka Suite- Sister Unit to the Cabin at Eagles Watch. Come snuggle up next to the fireplace after a long day of snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, hiking, or wildlife viewing. We have a full kitchen, free WIFI, and plenty of parking.
2 queen beds and recently added 2 twin beds and a sofa sleeper!

After cycling into Walden, it was so nice to venture out to Tatanka Suites at eagle rest. Well appointed, clean and wonderful scenery around our place.

Enjoyable stay

Cozy, warm, comfortable, and necessities supplied. Beautiful views, Sleeper sofa better for kids than for adults. Very good communications with the host.

Walden Ice fishing weekend

Unit was well kept and comfortable. Could have used the correct coffee filters for the coffee maker, but we muddled through that :)

Fishing trip

We were in Walden to go fish fishing. Beds were very comfortable. The couch is uncomfortable. Thank you for having everything I pretty much needed for cooking thanksgiving dinner

North Park area of Colorado

The property is clean and larger than it looks in the photos.Great mountain views. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Very close to small town of Walden, but off the beaten track. Pronghorn in the 'back yard.' Easy scenic drive to State Forest State Park.

We were there for wildlife viewing and on the 2nd morning we did not even have to leave before we saw a herd of pronghorn(with a baby) on the other side of the back fence! It is elevated and the views are fantastic. Location is close to several main intersections. You can tell the owner had fun decorating the unit. The decopage on the kitchen cabinets was fun with all the old photos of the pioneers and ranchers.

What a lovely property! We were very pleased. Location made it close enough to town that essentials were a quick drive, but far enough away from town to be a "dark sky" situation. We spent nights stargazing from the back deck. We saw the Milky Way and lots of meteors, thank you Perseids! So pleased with this rental. Thank you!

Comfortable Stay

This is a comfortable place to stay. Well appointed kitchen. Plenty of room. The beds are memory foam with not much memory of anything except very, very firm. Too firm for the Hubs and I. We both need a little softness on our 70+ year old joints. If we visit the area again, we would definitely stay here again, but we’d stop at the nearest WalMart for a couple of mattress toppers on the way! There are 3 or 4 places to eat in the tiny town of Walden. If you enjoy birding, the Arapahoe Wildlife Refuge and the large amount of BLM land are loaded with great sightings. Saw my first ever Prairie Falcon! Tons of hawks of various kinds, Sage Grouse, Grebes and so many migrating water birds on the small lakes and wetlands. The Ranger told us that in very wet years they often have Bald Eagle and Osprey. We did not see any but we were late in the year. Did see what could only be a Bald Eagle nest in a small group of trees in Arapahoe.

Loved the space…close to town yet private with a great view. Easy check-in and clean. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had what we needed (we didn’t cook but it looked sufficiently stocked). I don’t think you could do any better in the price range. . We would definitely stay here again.
