"Check in is at 3. We were notified upon arrival that the room was not ready and it would be 3-4 hours. We arrived 3 hours later, still not ready. We did not get into a room until 10:15pm. Keys didn't work. They had to let us in with a master and said they would bring the new keys up. Didn't happen. Next morning, without keys, we went back down to the front desk and still no keys. We didn't not receive keys until after 10:30am the morning after check-in. We were booked to stay for 3 nights. We checked out after the 1st night and went to another hotel. They had even suggested that the evening before around 9pm."

"Go somewhere else. Breakfast, joke. Rock hard freezer biscuits. Watered down pancake mix. And other than 2 kinds of cereal that’s it. Door to the room from the outside had gaps and you could see through them. It’s not really worth my time time listing everything. Go somewhere else. "

"The woman at the counter was able to help us out of a mix-up that we had. She was fabulous and was able to straighten things out so that everyone involved was happy. The room was perfect and comfortable. This is a great place to stay. Breakfast was very good also."

"Always have stayed at the Bluemont. However, this time, was different. When I booked the reservation almost a year ago, breakfasts were complimentary. One of the reasons I liked staying there. Apparently the hotel has changed hands and they now charge $20 for breakfast. Also there is a charge for overnight parking of $17. Both of these would have been nice to know thru Expedia before the stay because that’s not what I reserved! But because it was Graduation weekend, room rates were ridiculous compared to any other time of year, and now having fees for everything makes it much less appealing. Good luck to Bluemont. We will be changing our next reservation there. "

"We had to leave very early but the breakfast area looked good. This motel has no elevator! Could be a major problem for some folks. Only 2 floors but if you are on floor 2, it’s stairs all the way. Ice maker not working on floor 2. Would be considerate to notify guests before they get upstairs then have to return for ice. Very difficult to communicate with desk clerk who has heavy accent. No Wi-Fi? Not sure never found the password."
