"Wonderful baths, beautiful views, delicious Japanese food, exceptionally warm and helpful staff. Truly a wonderful get away. The chef graciously accommodated our vegetarian diet. Staff made sure all our needs were met and helped facilitate transportation for a day trip to Nachi Falls. Amenities were thoughtful. Grounds were under some renovation during our visit, but it was peaceful and very enjoyable. Wakayama station was a convenient hub for coming and going. "

"Just got back from a trip overseas, including 2 nights at this onsen hotel. We booked a non-smoking ocean view room, with kaiseki breakfast and dinner. We booked a room that could have up to 6 people. We were unprepared for how luxurious this room was! We had a huge tatami room looking over the ocean, very nicely appointed, and a separate room with a couch and massage chair, overlooking the ocean as well. Our bedroom had 2 double sized beds, and there was an extra tatami room that we never used...

"It is very old and not enough elevator for that many rooms. You should expect long waiting time for the elevator to come. Inside the room is renovated and close to public transportation. A good place to 'just sleep"."

"The hotel is bit outdated, but still very clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and helping. There is a good Thai massage place in 5 minute walk. We stayed only one night, and checked out at 6 am. The owner gave us sandwiches when we were leaving. For the price point, the hotel is highly recommended."
