「This is a no frills country pub that doesnt pretend to be anything else. But it delivers everything you hope for ...a clean warm room, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and really good food. It's a great place to stay. 」

「Fantastically comfortable bed, couldn't wait to get into it each of the 3 nights we stayed. Nicely appointed and very clean accommodation but in this day and age the least expectation would be a small microwave and a sink in the room. Found plates, cups and cutlery but not ideal having to wash up in the bathroom and Ranfurly doesn't have many places to eat out at night.」

「The advertised location as being on the Otago Rail Trail was incorrect. In fact it was 17 km from the trail in a different town so we couldn’t even get there. Very disappointing.」
