The view from this condo is incredible- oceanfront with some local turtles and surfers to view everyday. I loved the quiet area. The distance from the car to the elevator and elevator to door was very doable for my handicapped mother, but front door was very heavy and hard to handle, toilet was pretty low to ground and shower is not easy for older folks to get in and out (for those who are limited mobility). Again, the view is second to none so that makes up for a lot!

Short stay

The property was located in a nice area, with beach side view. We were unfortunately to be there when the water heater gave out. With the great help from Cristina she was able to get us a different condo with also a great view and nice location. The moving of our stuff was not fun but we were ok with it. Nice place but unable to enjoy it due to situation.

Such a peaceful place. Walking distance to restaurants and a couple of shops plus the harbor. We loved the whale watching … thank you for having binoculars to use. Great vacation!

Maalaea Bay Vacation

Fabulous view of the bay and Haleakala, also beautiful grounds and pool area. Location is pretty central; close to Kihei and Lahaina. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Central location with a Great view!

Overall was good. Location was central to everything to drive to which was nice. The view was amazing, but does get quite windy. The unit could use a bit of updating - The bed needs to be replaced. My husband slept on the couch cause the bed dipped so bad. We got to see lots of great fireworks for new years across the bay just sitting on the lawn. Lots of space to relax in the lawn with chairs, and the pool was a good size. Quite at night, great place to watch the stars.

Beautiful Maui

We love this area of Maui and specifically this condo complex, Ma’alaea Kai. It is centrally located with the most beautiful ocean front property. The grounds are beautifully kept with a great pool. We would stay here again.

Wonderful view in Maalaea

Being in Maalaea was an ideal location for us. It is a central location for going to Kihei, West Maui or to Kahului and upcountry. We very much enjoyed the great view of Maalaea bay with the whales, and of Haleakala, also for checking the clouds every day. The condo was very comfortable and equipped. The management was immediately responsive to any small issues. We would definitely return.

Great stay!

Was a bit apprehensive at first about the property but did not have many choices when booking (last minute on my part). That said, we loved our stay here! This was our first time to Maui and we had a rental car, so we knew we would not be home lounging every day. The location of this rental was so ideal in the middle of the island, and was so convenient to get everywhere! Loved the overall experience, clean space and amenities provided. Watching the sunset on the balcony almost every night with a glass of wine and recapping was truly relaxing - one of the highlights of our trip.

Central location overlooking the ocean in Maui

The property was well kept. The pool and lawn area overlooking the ocean was beautiful and a great place for our large group of 10 friends in their 50's to hang out. Centrally located to every town in Maui, we were able to get anywhere we wanted to be in about 20 minutes.

Much Needed Getaway

We love the Maalaea Kai condos and was happy to get to stay at these condos again. Condo was nice and clean with a wonderful view. We enjoyed our stay. This condo is centrally located with easy access to all you want to do. Would stay here again. Just a note if you rent this condo there is only one air conditioner in the living room and none in the bedroom so it does get warm in there and fans do not work very well.

Nice condo

The unit itself was nice and the location was convenient. Very close walk to Maalaea Bay shops and right on the water. It is a bit of a walk to get to the sandy beach but the property is beautifully maintained. The unit is smaller than we expected but it’s casual and comfortable. The property is kid friendly and was not as quiet or secluded as expected but the community was very nice. Would recommend.
