"The house was lovely, location perfect and presented clean and stocked well with appliances and essentials in the pantry. The only issue was the gutters and spouting-we had a bit of rain and many are blocked and growing weeds. Ie in some places the water was overflowing g like waterfalls. Also we think you have birds or rats in the ceiling of two top bedrooms. We have a similar problem in our pitched roof. "

Being unfamiliar with what is meant in NZ by “backyard sleep-out”, I was not expecting to need to go into the main house for a shower, to have no hot water, or to have no running water in the kitchenette. When it came time for us to leave at the end of our stay, we felt like part of the family because of the shared facilities, and a solution to our error regarding the dates of our stay."
