Excellent girlfriends wine weekend

8 friends for a wine tour- we loved this property! Right on the beach, large areas inside to gather or find alone space. Lots of beds and several bethrooms to accommodate all. Would love to return to stay again!

Big disappointment

The location was as described and wonderful, all other descriptions were misleading. The place was dirty e.g. food on couch, used band aids on floors, dead bugs, spider webs, and more. I reported the food on the couch but nothing happened. A very large trash container ( bigger than 2 large household trash barrels) was full to the point that items fell out when opened and another trash barrel was half full when we got there. The place is not luxury e.g.worn rugs, broken switches, windows and doors would not shut, junk everywhere, I could go on. One tv was completely broken (shattered screen) and was replaced the day after reported. It was not safe for children. Although it has two high chairs this house is not child safe. Child dangerous chemicals were at several locations, lamp cables were so frayed at the plug that they had to be unplugged, and more. The garage, where much of the outside furniture was stored, and was therefore unlocked, had a large plugged in circular saw that could run with the pull of a trigger, there was an aluminum door with the top window missing but still shards of glass around the edge of the missing window, the shelves were jammed full of paints and chemicals, and more. The heating system was noisy at night and settings would change independently (a preprogrammed Nest Thermostat?). A very big disappointment.

The twins 89th birthday getaway

We had a lovely time celebrating a combined 178 years of living between my father in law and his twin sister. There was plenty of wonderful views for all of us to enjoy as we visited

Great location!

The house is directly on the beach as advertised with a beach playground within a five minute walk which was incredibly convenient and a hit for our little ones. The owners were super responsive when anything came up. There is a great restaurant nearby where we ate at and got takeout from as well as some other delicious food options close by. Being on the beach makes for the house itself to look and feel a little worn but that’s expected. The two bathrooms are on the smaller size but for our party of five it was fine. The location is what would bring me back. Thank you for a great stay!

Quiet beach retreat

Our time spent at this beach retreat was wonderful. The house is comfortable and unique. We enjoyed being right on the sound and having such a lovely quiet beach. The hosts provided everything we could need, and it was a great place to stay.

Lovely Beach House

The house is perfectly located on a quiet beach. The semi-circular home takes full advantage of the view. The main living area is very comfortable and spacious. The bedroom area downstairs is a bit quirky but nice. The home was clean and the management responsive.

A stunning beachfront house!

This house is beautifully designed, with breathtaking sound views. A rustic and elegant interior that perfectly complements the natural beauty of the area. The furniture and decor are both stylish and comfortable, and boy - that fireplace!! Being right on the beach, you can step outside and be on the sand in seconds. Can't ask for a better location. The house is also incredibly clean and well-maintained. The owners take great pride in their property, ensuring that everything is sparkling clean and comfortable for guests. The bathrooms are immaculate, and the beds are freshly made. A perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Peaceful & Picturesque

We had a lovely, relaxing stay and truly enjoyed this beautiful home and property. There was plenty of space for our small group and we loved waking up to unobstructed views of the LI Sound. There are many cute shops and restaurants in the area, and we enjoyed a day trip to the nearby Baiting Hollow Farm & Vineyard. Thank you so much!

Once upon a tide

It was a awesome setting for a family gathering/wedding. All the accommodations were perfect set against the perfect location. Host Virginia and Debbie checked in to make sure everything was up to our liking. I hope to maybe rent again at this location or one of their others

An Amazing Place to Unwind

We had an amazing week at the beach. The house is right on the water with your own beach which was generally empty. Kids flew kites and played alot of poker (they didn't miss their screens). We visited vineyards, nearby towns, got great seafood and relaxed in the living room with an amazing view. It was a great place to unwind. The kitchen was stocked and management was very responsive. We would love to go back. Enjoy your stay.

loved the location

The house was very unique and special. Although there were a few inconvenient issues that came up with the house (hense 4 stars vs 5) , the property managers Virginia and Debbie were great and went above and beyond to take care of things. I'd give them 5 stars.
