"Breakfast has improved over my last visit. The trays of hot food were marked with what was in them, and they were all full when I got there at 8am. Everything was well-stocked and fresh. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. When I checked in, I was given a room on the main floor right at the main entrance. I prefer a room away from elevators, vending machines and other noises (like main/only entrance activity) so I requested a change. While they could not provide me with the same type of room, they were able to give me another one that met my needs. I'm happy with my overall experience."

"It's been years since I've lived in Ottawa and have been to this location (formerly Rideau Race Track). Rather than "drop off" signage at the hotel door, maybe instead have a 15-minute max parking for hotel guests first arriving and checking in. Arriving was probably the most confusing part of my stay. i.e., could I park in front while I checked in? I had to go through security screening (fronting the Casino) before I was directed to the hotel's front desk, which is inside the Casino and to the side. Then I had to go out and find parking, and then navigate the elevators (one elevator's panel is finicky and you have to really push the floor button or you're riding up and down until someone tells you this - my experience.) The room was very nice. Ample space, comfy bed, clean and quiet. The restaurant was excellent. We were there for an enjoyable show. I recommend, and I will definitely stay again. "

"My stay at the Residence Inn was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. The check-in process was quick and easy, which made arriving after a long day of driving much more convenient. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, and that standard carried through to the room as well. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and provided plenty of comfort. The beds were especially comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the cleanliness of the entire hotel really stood out it felt fresh and well cared for in every area. Breakfast was another highlight of the stay. There was a good variety of options available, making it easy to find something enjoyable to start the day. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer takeout containers for guests who prefer not to sit in the dining area, as it can get very crowded especially on weekends, even during slower peak times. I would definitely consider staying here again based on the comfort, cleanliness, and overall quality of the experience."
