Vorab Glacier Ski Resort

It was fine, travellers should bring their own shower things as the amenities are only the basic hair/bodywash and handsoap. The room was clean enough. The breakfast was not that great, no vegan/gluten free/lactose free options were available and the selection in general was basic at best.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which was the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning made this one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve had. We visited during a heat wave, and the room was unbearably hot, making it extremely difficult to sleep. Despite opening the windows, there was very little airflow, and the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout the night. I truly appreciate the kindness of the staff, but I would not recommend staying here during the summer unless the hotel installs air conditioning or clearly informs guests that rooms do not have it.

We loved having access to the guest kitchen including the fridge. The back terrace was in full bloom and a lovely place to sit in the evening with snacks and a drink after a busy day of being tourists. The breakfast was amazing with home made goodies (and we know they were homemade as we were in the guest kitchen getting water one day and the very lovely staff member was taking delicious smelling treats out of the oven!), a nice selection of fruits, cheeses, breads, etc. The staff were very helpful with suggestions and directions as well. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience!
