"To be honest, I knew the apartment was dated but it didn't appear very clean either. For example, the bed linens seemed worn and old, the bathroom (shower) smelled moldy, the trash wasn't taken out in the kitchen, and the bathroom towels smelled bad. "Spacious accommodation with modern decor and lighting in the heart of Klagenfurt. Unfortunately, the bedding on one side of the double bed did not appear clean. One of the towels appeared soiled and the towel mat had clearly been used and left on the floor (the other towels were clean). The kitchen was well equipped, but the bin was full of rubbish and there was an open packet of sauce and a half drunk bottle of water left on the side. It's a shame. Otherwise, all was fine."

"We had a wonderful stay at Herbert's house in Haimburg. Communication (in English) was excellent and he provided some great recommendations and booked tennis in the village for us. The housekeepers Arnold and Gitte are on hand if anything is needed. The ground floor of the house and outdoor space are fantastic, particularly the pool area and the modern and well-equipped kitchen. The upstairs is less modern, particularly the bathrooms and we really only used the ground floor and top floor showers. There is just one air-conditioning unit in the living area of the top floor and a couple of tower fans. We were blessed with incredible August weather (over 30 every day) very lucky but this did mean that the bedrooms, particularly the top floor, were very hot. We did a day-trip to Lake Bled and had a fantastic lunch followed by lake swimming in Klagunfurt - but mainly we made full use of the house in the sunshine. Thanks Herbert!"
