"We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

"To start with the (only a few) positives: - The property manager was forthcoming and friendly. - Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. The nearest town, Neapoli, is 5 mins away (all by car). However, the neighbourhood itself is less than scenic, a dirt coastal road leads you to the property. Nowhere to go on foot. "Loved it. If you’re looking for a cute quiet spot in a teeny village, you can’t beat this. The view was stunning. The beach was unreal. Several restaurant options within a short walk. Even prettier than the photos. "

"The staff was so welcoming - with refreshments that were homemade. The service and help were outstanding. The property was clean and very well equipped. Beautiful views, own patio area, great air-conditioning and refrigerator and hot pot in room. Breakfast was either buffet or custom ordered. Very friendly and elegant property."

"A hotel worth much more than two stars I would rate it at least three if not four stars The staff is lovely, Shontei, Hargiro, Nina, (I hope I wrote the names correctly) take care of you as a guest so that you will simply have a good time. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the hotel staff is quick to fix any problem. The view from the quiet private balcony is stunning in its beauty, the proximity to the most beautiful beach in the area, a 2-minute walk away, is worth it all. Coffee is free throughout the day and night, and even a basket of fresh fruit is available for her, if you are craving sweet fruit. The breakfast buffet is rich and luxurious. It's worth it to celebrate my birthday at Iris beach hotel. All was good."
