Villa Alisia, Wunderschönes Natursteinhaus mit Pool bei Pore?
Nestled among olive trees, vineyards, and orchards on the hills of Poreč in Croatia, House Alisia—which sleeps 6+2—is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist destinations.
House Alisia, consisting of a pair of charming old stone houses, is situated on a south-facing slope in a small village. The traditional natural materials are also featured inside the house: fired clay tiles on the first floor, and natural wood and oak on the second floor. Thanks to its hillside location and the materials used, the house stays pleasantly cool. On particularly hot nights, the air conditioning can be turned on.
The first floor features the living and dining area—an open-concept space with the special charm of authenticity that ties everything together. The open fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room and serves as a substitute for the absent television.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need during your vacation: cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, a salad spinner, and a Nespresso machine—for which you can find eco-friendly capsules at local supermarkets. For coffee connoisseurs, there’s a La Pavoni manual lever espresso machine that, with a little practice, produces exquisite espresso. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher. A washing machine for laundry is located in the garden shed.
Upstairs are two air-conditioned bedrooms, separated from the lower level by a wooden staircase. Both bedrooms feature comfortable double beds, perfect for taking a nap during the day, daydreaming while reading your favorite book, listening to music, or similar activities.
A third bedroom is located in the garden house. This is a converted barn with an en suite bathroom, a double bed, and air conditioning.
The building’s south-facing orientation allows sunlight to stream in throughout the day, while the traditional stone walls keep the house cool in the summer. If it does get too hot, the large pool in the courtyard is the perfect place to cool off.
The open garden serves as the central hub of the house, which you’ll enjoy both during the day and in the evening. A small outdoor kitchen makes it easy to enjoy your meals outside in the shade of the old stone walls or in the sun. Sun loungers, hammocks, and a cushioned corner bench under a massive tree are perfect for a cozy afternoon.
A fire pit with a grill is ideal for enjoying an atmospheric meal before sunset. The clear nights are made even more enjoyable with a refreshing drink.
