This wonderful Casita/Studio is located near to all the fun travel destinations that Southern California has to offer
yet is quiet, private and away from the crowds. Private entrance and a place to unwind and just enjoy the
beautiful and art-filled tropical gardens.
1 Queen Bed w/lovely linens for comfortable sleeping, a Flip Sofa for added sleeping space, Full bathroom and large walk in shower, Kitchenette with all the necessities.

PLEASE NOTE: We are 100% No Smoking/ Vaping/Drugs or Pets... if you can't abide by these rules, please don't choose to stay at our property.

This is a lovely, charming, cozy casita. The host is friendly and communicative. This place is a quiet little gem. All you hear are the birds chirping outside. There was homemade banana bread in our room and cold water in the fridge after a very long drive from Phoenix.. their backyard is like an oasis in paradise. You can swing and listen to the trickle of their fountain while looking up at the palm trees.. you honestly could just have a private getaway without going to the beach. Even though the beach is only 15 minutes away.. The weather was perfect as well. The room was clean and comfy too. All the details were so thoughtful.. You have to check it out yourself.

Very Serene

Nancy has created a beautiful, relaxing environment. The Casita is well stocked, and comfortable, even a home made treat waiting for you. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely Oasis

Inside space is well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Outside space is a lovely oasis that people and birds both enjoy! Fall asleep to the sounds of the fountain ... sweet dreams!

Lovely and serene

Our stay was restful. Nancy was responsive to my questions. The yard was like living in a private oasis. The Casita was clean, well supplied with so much. Beach towels, chairs, games, books, coffee... And a loaf of fresh bread :-)Would highly recommend this option when traveling in San Diego county...

Great place!

If available, I will be staying again! Your own off street parking, private entrance and courtyard. The space is very well utilized and has all the things you'd need for a stay. In a nice neighborhood and close to shops, dining, beaches of Oceanside and Carlsbad

Perfect Getaway Location

This was out fourth time staying at the Chapman's Casita and as usual, the stay was perfect. Nancy and Jim are awesome hosts who make their home feel like yours. The backyard is an oasis, and the location is perfect whether you are going to the beach, the mountains, or the desert. Highly recommended.

Very Pleasant and Safe

I was traveling alone on this stay and needed a one night solution before meeting up with a friend for a short road trip. Nancy’s Casita was ideal. I felt perfectly safe and enjoyed a quiet evening reading a book. The unit was clean and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. I would book a return visit if ever staying in Vista again.

Perfect Getaway Spot

This casita was perfect for our vacation needs. Great location with lovely and private backyard. Hosts were great. The suite had everything we needed - umbrellas, beach towels, well-stocked kitchen and a comfy bed. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone travelling in the Oceanside/Vista area.

Wonderful stay!

We came to visit the area for our anniversary and just wanted a quiet home base to explore the area from. Nancy was warm and kind and made us feel right at home when we arrived. The studio had everything we needed and you can tell that there’s a lot of love and care spent to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. We had a great time exploring the beaches, desert and mountains and Vista is such a cute town that we really never felt the need to go into San Diego. I was all very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay. We can’t recommend Casota high enough!

What a gem!

This little casita was the perfect base for our visit to this area. Close to hiking, beaches, and all the great small towns nearby. Decorated perfectly, stocked with everything we needed and steps away from a splendid garden. Nancy communicated quickly and ensured that our stay was perfect.

Sweet casita!

This little place was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean, quiet and the host was easy to talk to. She let us check in early and had wonderful bread waiting for us. If it would have been warmer weather, we would have enjoyed the outside space, it is beautiful. We would stay here again if we are in the area.
