「Quiet and cozy cabin across the street from the Kickapoo River. Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again in the future.」

It was clean, had everything we needed (fully stocked necessities for kitchen), the host had great communication and cared about us having a great experience, the property was private with tree cover from the other properties near by, had a great hot tub, and was over all just an amazing place to stay! 「We had the pleasure of getting a little snow during our stay which was awesome.But the roads from the cabin were sloppy with the melt the following day and we had trouble getting out to go for a grocery run. Kirsty and Kyle were very helpful and were kind enough to bring us some coffee and flour. Really great folks and a very beautiful and private location. Great space to reset from reality. Highly recommend.」

「The cabin and location are great. Everything was as described. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness. There were stains on the floor from spills and marks/crumbs on end tables from previous guests having drinks/food. It’s nice that pets are allowed but with that comes additional cleaning that was missed. Pet hair on furniture and a spot by one of the doors that appeared to be from a pet having an accident.
