気になった点 : 清潔度
When booking, I knew the house was a little older, but didn’t expect the house to be dirty. I don’t think it was cleaned before we arrived. The floors weren’t cleaned, the refrigerator was dirty/smelled and the freezer had something in it that was identifiable. The upstairs bedroom had stains on the sheets, spiders webs with a live spider in it and there was a dead cockroach on the floor. The laundry room doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a long time as evident of the layer of dirt on the dryer. Also, I know that the listing said that there was no paper products provided, but it would have been nice to have some toilet paper and paper towels since no one wants to start their vacation by running to the store to pick up these items. I contacted the realtor agency about the cleanliness and they stated that someone would come by to clean the house. When we returned from the beach, I really couldn’t tell what they cleaned except the changing of the stained sheets. No one from the realtor office contacted me again to follow up to ensure the house was cleaned. The hand written notes around the house is tacky. Lastly, I felt like I did more than the cleaner, since I had to place all sheets and towels in a specific bag and place it downstairs prior to departing, as well as take out the trash…with the trash bags that I had to buy. The only positive is the location to the beach. I have more to write, but hit the character maximum. We definitely wouldn’t stay here again!
