The staff was very helpful and polite, the room was clean and cozy. The jets in the tub didn't work but everything else was perfect!!!! We will be staying there again.

VA Beach Getaway

We took a mini vacation to VA Beach and stayed at this location. Perfect spot. Beach wasn’t extremely busy, right on the Boardwalk, and a fantastic view. Highly recommend!

Great location

The building is older, but our unit was very clean and comfortable. The building has a nice pool and free laundry. The location was top tier, with a balcony looking out on the boardwalk and beach.

Relaxation

This was the perfect spot to relax and hardly have to leave for food or drink with an on site restaurant. No breakfast but it is just across the street and excellent food!

Nice off-season stay at the beach

Unit is small, but clean and efficient. Enjoyed the pool; great beach and boardwalk, of course. Good restaurants versus near by, but many are not open in February. Staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. (For some reason our single 8-day vrbo booking was 3 separate reservations in their system, which took some extra effort.) Overall, just what we were looking for.

Great Ocean Front Condo!

The Ocean Sands resort was a perfectly located resort right on the beach. The building is a little dated, but the condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The check-in was very easy and they even allowed us early check-in. The garage parking was convenient and very close to the unit. Every single person we met at the resort went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. It’s a great property for the value. We’ll definitely be returning.

Great balcony but…..

Everything went well during our stay regarding the staff and the room. However we were just very unlucky as our next door neighbors loudly, and I mean loudly, fought during our entire stay! We called the desk late one night and the staff were really nice.

Comfort of home, while away from home!

The whole experience was nice. The booking, correspondence with owner, and the check in process were all top notch. A+ all the way! The unit was very clean with comfy beds, and televisions in each room. The kitchen had everything we needed on those days that we opted to stay in and cook. And the bath room was spacious, well lit, and had a jetted tub. I wouldn't hesitate to book with this owner again, and will refer all my friends/family. Thanks again, for helping to make this much needed vacation a nice one!

This room was “SMALL” and I mean tiny. It would have been perfect for 2 people but stating it sleeps 4 people is terribly misleading. There is a sofa bed, but the room is so small that when you pull out the sofa bed it blocks the only way to the bathroom. You cannot get by. My room was also extremely dirty. I had to sweep it myself to get the sand off of the floor. The balcony has 2 chairs but no table to put your coffee or drink on. To get a towel for the pool which is on the 6th floor, you had to go all the way to the 1st floor lobby and get them and then trek all the way back up to the 6th floor. The main hotel elevator was broken down for half a day. Imagine lugging your beach gear all the way to the other end of the hall to catch the only operating elevator only the again lug it all the way to the opposite side of the hotel to the only door that leads outside to the beach. My only compliment is that the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant.
