Everything was very clean and well equipped. The host was very easy to communicate with and super friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I was ever in the area. Access to the beach is super simple. Lots of nice dining options in this area too.

Miriam is one of the kindest and friendliest hosts we have worked with. We travel a lot with VRBO and she is exceptional! The house has everything you would need. Close to the beach. Quiet area. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler! It was a game changer for our trip.This will be our go to place for Virginia Beach! See you next year!

We could not have had a better experience at this property. Miriam anticipated our needs, had things on hand that were both important and not usually available in a short term rental (alcohol swaps and bandaids), and was generous with info about the community resources and the property. It's a great location, has comfortable stylish furnishing and some charming decorations. Everything worked well, stove, dishwasher., showers, wifi, streaming services. Hope to stay here again.

Great place! Was too cold to enjoy the beach but hope to return soon! Place is perfect location, cozy, and everything we needed. Great communication! Even had some tricky traffic situations with the Shamrock Marathons but Miriam helped us navigate perfectly!

Perfection near but far enough away

Perfect end unit townhouse with walking distance to restaurants, shops, the beach and more. Clean, up-to-date appliances and comfy beds. We will definitely look to this place first in the future.

A gem in an excellent location!

Our family stay at this property was perfect; I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Very clean, perfectly stocked in all the spaces; really anything you would need while at the beach. The Host was easy to communicate with and timely. Loved the location: end of boardwalk, next to inlet with the easiest, shortest walk to a very wide pretty beach. We will most definitely book this property in the future.

One of, if not the best, vacation rentals we've stayed at. Instructions and getting in were easy. Everything was super clean and I'm picky about that. There were items available such as tea bags, soap, coffee that are nice to have as sometimes we don't get to the grocery store right away. We always bring our own coffee as we don't know how long it's been sitting there but it's nice to have if we're desperate. The hosts stay in a small studio below so we got to meet them. I LOVE when the hosts manage their own place and wish that I could screen for that on VRBO as there are too many managed properties by investment firms that take properties out of the market which makes real estate more expensive for young people trying to buy a home. But when an owner wants to make a little extra and rents out extra space, that's something I want to support! Lovely couple with a great place. Great location close to the beach for walking. We will definitely stay again!

Home away from home!

This place had everything we needed. They had beach towels shovels for the kids bikes, security at the house outside shower to wash yourself as well as your items from the beach. They have their beach blankets. They had toys, games, icemaker, dishwasher, toiletries, sewing kit. They provided laundry detergent. There’s a wash washer and dryer two balconies to go outside paper towels, a whole set of all kinds of dishware from wine glasses to simple cereal bowls, pizza cutters, and the bathrooms they provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash kid friendly neighborhood was great looking out of the view the beaches cross the street sunlight in the bedroom woke you up. It was beautiful. What a beautiful gem of a place home away from home all that you need and more recommend this place to family and friends coworkers and anyone else reading this you will love or stay here and the owners are beautiful and wonderful people they are down to earth very kind and they’re there when you need them for anything recommend them 100%.

Awesome Location plus parking

We snagged this property last minute when another family canceled and we feel we truly hit the jack pot. We are a family of 5 (6, 4, 21 months) and the layout of the house was perfect. We set up the pack n play in the master bathroom which was dark and quiet. Our other two loved having their own room next to our room and my husband and I loved having the space downstairs to drink wine and relax after they went to bed. We walked to the trolley stop, a playground and the beach in under 5 minutes. It was perfect for relatively quick trips to all of these places. Miriam was so responsive and the place was in great shape. It’s tucked away from the craziness of the boardwalk. Huge plus to have two covered parking spots. We will definitely be back. Thank you Miriam!

This was our first experience using VRBO and we could not be more pleased!! This house was extremely clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Virginia Beach Retreat was exceptional! The property is well cared for and well stocked with all the essentials. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner while there and never needed anything the kitchen didn’t have. A great location too. Boardwalk and beach are just steps away and easy to access. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity comes again!
