We loved the outside space and pool to cool off - so much space. Relaxing, calm and tranquil. Fabien was on site if we needed anything. It felt very much like home for us with the animals and greeted by the dog when we came home each day."

"Le Sittèle, petit bateau qui ne paie pas de mine mais dans lequel nous avons très bien dormi.L'intérieur est aussi petit qu'un appartement parisien mais bien pensé et pratique finalement.Nous avons apprécié le toit ouvrant qui permet de rafraîchir l'habitacle et d'observer les étoiles filantes avant de s'endormir.Le propriétaire est sympathique et arrangeant."

"Recently renovated house with incredibly large garden. There was a beautiful church next door. Interestingly, the place is run by the village. The small presents from the local area were also very nice. I would definitely recommend the place!"

"We loved our stay at the house, lovely long garden and super pool (after we asked for it to be cleaned). The outside covered eating and bbq area was perfect. This is a “shabby chic” property with an unpredictable oven and NO air conditioning. But still a lovely family home."

"La maison est située dans un petit village calme, elle est très joliment décorée et bien équipée. Rien ne manque à la cuisine. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie très confortable. La terrasse à l'arrière est en contrebas, accessible par un escalier. Tout est très bien entretenu. Nous n'avons pas vraiment souffert de la chaleur malgré la canicule (37) car les murs en pierre sont épais. "Not to be mistaken for a hotel, this is a self service set of prehistoric rooms, except for the pricing. Cleanliness is subpar, towels are older than my grandmother, and air conditioning is not a technology that has reached this part of the world. I was desperate to get some rest, but good luck doing so in 30 deg C temperature with no air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the noise from the restaurant downstairs right beneath my window. I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door locked and nobody there but a sign that says call these 2 numbers. First number, voicemail, so i try the second and the voice on the other side of the line instructs me to find the key to my room AND the key to the damn hotel entrance in a secret box. So i do, and I go in only to find the place so dark I have to turn on the flashlight on my phone. With luck I find the light switch to the hallway, but the light is so dim I have to keep the flashlight on. The interior is dilapidated and a reflection of an owner that has given up a very long time ago and now is milking the place for the last few pennies. Disappointing experience."

"We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."
