"A wonderful holiday home, beautifully modernised and renovated, everything you could ever need is catered for - even down to bluetooth speakers (x3), yoga mats, air conditioning in two rooms (though house very cool in July), and the fridge has ice machine and ice cold water. Plus comfy beds, great pool and stunning courtyard. So much space. Boulangerie 100 metres away. Best holiday house we've ever had in France. And Erika is lovely. "Monica and Warren are great hosts and met us at the property to go through everything with us. The house is charming and tastefully renovated. There is a bit of local traffic noise but other than that a great location in the village. We would stay there again!"

Même si nous avons maqué d'intimité, nous avons passé un séjour agréable."

"A notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par ce domaine et l'environnement naturel qu'il offrait. En apparence, un lieu paisible dans lequel nous pensions trouver un "havre de paix" en tout point. Cependant, le charme a été rompu par des aléas : SPA en travaux, non accessible, piscine fermée aux heures d'ouverture avec un petit mot à l'entrée "Il me semble que certains ne savent pas lire ! je suis à votre disposition pour des cours !", barbecues en réparation donc à partager, le chalet à peine...

"This is a beautiful hotel, set in a tranquil garden, with a lovely view. The staff members were helpful and very friendly, and the room was enormous, interesting and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk into town, and around the ramparts of the city. It’s a pity we had just one night, we would have liked to have stayed longer. Very good breakfast"

"A comfortable and convenient hotel with pleasant staff and good facilities including secure parking. The bistro style dining was excellent and we took the smaller breakfast option which was great too. The central location is perfect, right in the heart of the old hilltop town with many historic buildings and great views. "

"Nice hotel in Angouleme. Had a little difficulty finding it at night since not familiar with area. Had after hours check in which went well, although gate for accessing parking area was not automatic but manual. Hotel is new in an older building, but that adds to its charm and has all the modern amenities (including A/C, which not all hotels have in the area). The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, but was small like most French hotel rooms. Enjoyed our one night stay and would stay here again if we are in the area. "

"This is our second time staying here while driving from Netherlands to San Sebastian. The first time was so great we did it again and this time was even better. The staff is 10/10 amazing. Very patient with my bad French even thought they spoke English perfectly. Claire even spoke a good amount of Dutch. She checked us in and helped us with the menu and was overall a sparkling ray of sunshine. The dinner and drinks were great. This is a classic motel. Clean, hot shower, comfy bed, fabulous staff, close to the highway. It is older but not in a bad way. It has character and is just a great place!"
