"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "Nous avons passé une nuit en arrivant assez tardivement (difficile de trouver l'entrée de nuit). Nous avons malheureusement constaté que la 7e place était un lit bébé ! Pour un enfant de quasi 4 ans ce n'était pas adapté. Sinon les commodités sont propres et opérationnelles mais les finitions sur les murs de la cuisine et de la salle de bain laissent à désirer."

"We stayed with our dog in Dannevoux from 27/12 - 01-01 to escape the fireworks in Holland and we had a perfect stay. The house has really everything you need; dishwasher, washing machine, fast wifi and a comfortable bed. The house is located in a quiet village with footpads leading into the countryside and woods. Verdun and other places of interest regarding WW1 are nearby. We would love to stay again!!"

The hostess was very friendly and was always available for our questions. We appreciated the many small details provided the hostess such as a lovely bouquet of wildflowers."

"The hostess was enthusiastic-- a florist with a lovely garden. We had very lovely conversations within my fractured French. Excellent restaurant recommendation from her that was a short and easy walk. The local park we went through is very pleasant and a nice play to sit. There were other guests yet we had no idea until we came to breakfast. We also saw them at the same restaurant. "
