This 3 BR/3 full bath was designed for groups or families seeking a topical island vacation with all the modern luxuries. Easy access to beautiful Caribbean beaches- just minutes to the quiet and pristine Blue and Red Beaches, the best on the island! This listing features a updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops with pots, pans and dishes for cooking and eating. We provide a washer/dryer in unit, a lovely large mahogany dining table perfect for group meals and a Smart TV with WiFi internet! The living room has been recently updated with brand new sofa and loveseat with French doors that open to the expansive veranda. Similarly, each bedroom features French doors opening to the veranda that lines the entire back of the building, facing the Caribbean Sea with views or Caribbean sea and the nature preserve. This is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The master suite has a queen size bed and its own large bathroom with double vanity. The two other bedrooms have queen size beds, each with their own full bathroom. Two large air conditioners in two rooms plus ceiling fans in each room keep the house cool, along with the lovely sea breezes. The house is surrounded by lush, green landscaping and vibrantly colored tropical plants. Security is not a concern here- the house is enclosed by walls with a secure front gate and easy, safe parking. This is one of the closest houses to the BEST beaches on the island that are located within the nature preserve the entrance to which is just across the street.

For those unfamiliar with Vieques, a car or golf cart is highly recommended to ease travel around the island. You should try to book a car rental prior to your arrival on the island. We also recommend pre-booking ferry or air travel to Vieques prior to confirming your VRBO reservation. We will not refund your stay due to poor travel planning.

We also have two, 2BR/1 bath fully furnished apartments that sleep 4 guest available for weekly or monthly rentals (VRBO listing 750125) Long term rental available.

We ask that this home is respected and cared. Our house keeper will meet you at property to hand you keys and complete a walk through prior to your stay in a effort to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. Damage to the house or breaking the terms of the lease (ex. extra people without permission, pets) will be reported to the owner.

PERFECT

If you are looking for adequate space for 3 couples, Casa Persicana is spot on! 3 bedrooms with 3 baths & 2 minutes from Wildlife Refuge Beach entrance! Amazing sunrise views over refuge beaches & our host Zia was an absolute treat, his kindness, knowledge of the island & overall hospitality was unassuming & refreshing!!!

Well maintained, spacious property. Comfortable rooms. Great location convenient to the wildlife refuge and beaches there. Small grocery store nearby (on the way to Esperanza) about 8 minutes away. Must have a car/Jeep. Stunning views and overall very peaceful, comfortable place. Had a great experience.

Great place in Vieques

House is spacious with 3 bathroom and large bedrooms so we had plenty of room to spread out- the balcony is large and has a pretty view of the Caribbean- plus is air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms and plenty of fans- both ceiling and floor- Zia the owner is very nice and welcoming and attentive to anything we needed Great to have a washer and dryer too- house is well located - just a few minutes to Caracas beach and close to SunBay too - Thanks Zia we had a great time!

Restful and peaceful space in Vieques

We went to Vieques for a few days and we stayed in this beautiful home. Very spacious, very clean and well maintained. Slept like a baby, very quiet and beautiful view of mosquito bay. 10 min from La Esperanza and 15 min from Isabel II. Convenient location, easy to drive to different parts of the island, strongly recommend.

Overall, an awesome stay!

The house is very spacious! With this rental is it the middle level of the home. I dont know if they rent out the other parts or not, as we had the place to ourselves while we were there. The deck is amazing with views as promised. Cool fruit trees on the property. Felt very safe. Close drive to anything that you could want! I would rent a jeep, not a golf cart!

Spectacular Time

House is very spacious, safe, clean and has a breathtaking view. Of course, one needed an auto for transportation but was 8 minutes away from the ferry /downtown and 10 minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. Although only 2 of the 3 bedrooms had air conditioners there was good cross ventilation and rooms were cool enough that allowed us to sleep comfortably with the ceiling fans on only. Zia the property manager was very kind and helpful by recommending areas to visit and very responsive in clearing up questions or concerns we had. In fact, he shared with us some delicious tomatoes fresh out of his garden which we immediately tossed into our salad. We had a great time. Feel that the cost per day was reasonable for this property and would rent it again.

Nice view but dirty place

Pros: excellent location overlooking Bioluminescent Bay and southern coast. Beautiful sunrise. Large house with plenty of room for a large family. Just a short 9 min drive to Esperanza and great beaches to the southeast.Cons: dirty and poorly maintained. NOT up to standards for a tourist vacation rental. The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival — dirty bath mats, toothpaste smeared on sinks, hair in shower drains, kitchen stovetop greasy. Poor communication with housekeeper — we tried calling, text, WhatsApp to ask them to clean. We never received a response. Poorly furnished. No furniture on the porch to enjoy views. No place to hang wet towels and bathing suits.

Beautiful and spacious property with amazing views

This property was a lot bigger in person than in the pictures. The showers were huge and very modern. The views from the balcony were amazing and you can see all of the stars at night. The house keeper Edbert was extremely helpful. The unit was also very clean and well kept.

Fantastic location, clean & comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is super close to the Wildlife preserve (Caracas & La Chiva beaches) and centrally located between the 2 towns. We learned that addresses don't really exist in Vieques but once you get the GPS location its easy to find. The property has stunning views, lots of breezes - we never needed the AC - and our host was very accessible and friendly. Chickens, frogs, birds and horses trotting down the street can be heard in the mornings - we loved that. We hope to return to Vieques and would certainly stay here again.

Great Place!

Stayed here during my recent trip to Vieques and I will definitely come back. The location is ideal. Right next to entrance of the best beaches and at midway point to both major towns Isabel and Esperanza. The apartment is very clean, new appliances and really spacious. The owner Zia picked us up from the ferry and helped us during our stay. I have stayed in Vieques several times and this place bloew the others away. Perfect location, and great for cooking, relaxing and sunset views of the Wildlife Reserve, Ocean and BioBay. Thank You!!

Be Sure That This Is What You Want

Sorry, I can only tell about my very short experience at this location. A/C is not available in all rooms. There is a musky ordor. Appliances are not in the best condition. It was recently cleaned. There are electric and water outages from time to time.The property manager resides on location. I had identified my concerns to VRBO and.they commnicated directly to the owner and i had to canceled my reservation.Be it said also that i do have medical conditions that i felt could of been complicated. Owner was very understanding and accepted my cancelation. With regards to that.Thank You

Very Comfortable, Spacious and Good Location

The property was very spacious and had all the amenities you would need. The area was peaceful and private. The balcony overlooked several bays on the south of the island and was very close to Red Beach which we enjoyed. Mr. Gardo was very helpful and kind. The only improvements I would suggest would be A/C in all rooms. The house is breezy enough during the day and all rooms have fans, but for sleeping it would be more comfortable to have A/C as it can be pretty warm. Also, the description said there was a king size bed. However, all were queen. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely consider staying there again. Maybe even with a bigger group as it is very comfortable.

Vieques Journey

The property has a great view of the Carribean to the south. Clean and neat. The air conditioning in the property description is misleading. Though there is A/C, it was only in 1 room and that was a bedroom. 1 other bedroom, the master, had A/C, but it didnt work. The main part of the house did not have A/C. Acceptable for some, but that was not would I call A/C. Also lacking enough towels for showering.

Excellent Choice for Vieques

This is a HUGE flat with spectacular views and a friendly, helpful attendant. First off- It’s a giant flat- 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 4 sets of French doors leading to the spacious balcony. The location-10 minute drive to Esperanza, adjacent to the reserve, was perfect for our short stay. When we arrived, Alfredo met us at the ferry station and followed us to the rental car location. He led us to the property and showed us the amenities including the gate to a private drive and parking. in an extremely helpful and attentive way. When we couldn’t get the wifi password to work, we contacted him and the owner. Both replied back immediately and, even though internet time isn’t as important in such a beautiful location, resolved the issue. We recommend this wholeheartedly.

A wonderful place in need of a throughly cleaning

The location of the property is excellent. Nestled in a mountain, the view from there is spectacular, the breeze coming in through the windows is wonderful and refreshing. The community is very calm and feels safe. It is extremely close to spectacular beaches, restaurants that are still open after Hurricane Maria. However, it is imperative that several things happen for this space to gain five stars. 1. Everything was dirty. The tables covered in dust, the shower area had cockroaches, dust, cobwebs just like the walls. All that can be arranged by hiring someone who every time you rent the apartment, do a good cleaning. 2. The kitchen cabinets and drawers had traces of cockroach poop. It is necessary to clean them thoroughly inside and to wash all the utensils found there. 3. There is no wifi, no cable or dish, there is a very small dvd player but it has no cable to connect to the tv. So the use of the tv is none. It would make the property even more attractive if they provide wifi and the cable for the use of the dvd through the tv. 4. There are no pots or ladles. They should buy a set of pots whose surfaces do not allow the food to stick. 5. They should put curtains on the doors of rooms that do not let sunlight. Once dawn, the sun hits the face and does not allow the dream from then on. Finally, even though it seems that I do not recommend the place for everything mentioned, I think that if they resolve everything I have criticized but with the intention of improving, the place is excellent and well worth giving love to make it even better . I must say that the person in charge, Irene, is charming and very willing.
