Fantastic house with a great pool, perfect for a family holiday.
Pros: This was a perfect holiday, especially for the kids. They spent almost the whole day in the pool. There's also a jacuzzi, though we barely used it since it was so hot during our stay. For the same reason, we unfortunately didn't get to use the private tennis court either. We did enjoy plenty of darts and table tennis instead, and the large living room was pleasantly cool indoors.
Alicia, who rented the house to us, was lovely and gave us great tips on things to do nearby. She and her husband live in an apartment on the lower floor when they're home, but we never heard each other at all.
The main beach town nearby is Lloret de Mar, which is lively and full of energy, but we actually preferred Tossa de Mar, a bit more exclusive and relaxed. Our favorite beach was Platja de Canyelles. We'd also highly recommend Kayak Adventure Lloret for an exciting kayak tour with Narcis, where you can swim from the kayak and take underwater photos with the fish.

Cons: There was water rationing during the day (likely due to drought in the area), which meant reduced water pressure from the tap. It was manageable, you just had to shower in the morning or evening, but otherwise not a real problem.
