"Whole hotel has a lovely fresh relaxed vibe esp as it’s so new, very central, would definitely go back. Stylish and laid back. Minor niggles, bit of a drain smell in our bathroom, very little storage for clothes etc, Room’s not huge. Also room even on lowest temperature was a bit warm for me. Staff very accommodating- made a couple of advance requests, sorted without a quibble."

"The hotel was very clean and in a great location. There is a good breakfast place right in the hotel. Also there is a pub with pool tables and lots of TV's to watch games. The staircase area is beautiful and worth seeing. Rooms are great for the price in my mind. Had everything any other room does for 2 or 3 times the price. Can be louder at nights as you are in a busy area, but that is expected due to the location being so great."

"Room was stunning plenty of room to move about. Staff at reception came straight up with 2 more pillows. Ideal location & so quiet. Definitely stay again. Only negative i could say is could do with some chopped up fruit for yoghurt & some bacon"

"This is an incredibly average hotel for the price point (£325 for one night). The room was up two flights of stairs from a lift - which was not advertised. The room itself was somewhat tired and basic, with poorly thought out design (e.g. the rainfall shower head was not high enough for someone standing at 5 foot 8 to use, the bedside locker placement meant you couldn't open the wardrobe). Whilst there are areas in the hotel that are nice, this definitely sits in the category of all style, no substance and, at the price point, we will not stay again given the much better options in Manchester."

"The hotel decor is very tired. Its an old building that has been painted in more modern colours but the carpets are very worn and the woodwork has been repainted on top of layers of old paint. It is not a boutique hotel as described. The windows are single glazed with secondary glazing so there is no sound proofing of the street noise outside. We didnt eat at the hotel so cant provide any information about that. The staff however are so friendly and welcoming!"
