「The cleaning service is not good and unable to communicate with staff. There was standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher where the cycle was not completely finished. The towels were old and stains were on them and the pillow cases. We had to wash everything before using them. We didn’t have enough towels, so I called the host and she had some door dash to us. The property location to the beach is very good. 」

「We stayed 2 nights. BBQ facilities with nice view. We could fish from thw private dock (pier). Here are many Pelicans and they bit my lure. So I recommend you to use barbless hooks for easy release. Office opens from 9am, so if you depart early, you should pre-arrange check out.」

「I don't understand the bad reviews. If you had bedbugs, shower broke, fridge broke, I definitely get it. But, it's a budget hotel, so expect budget. Book ahead of time and don't expect 5 star service. Do your homework. If you need a place to stay for a few nights while in town, don't overlook it. I'd stay there again.」

「The 1bdr I rented at Sea Turtle worked fine for me. Spacious, clean, dependable WiFi, nice bed, coffee maker, nice kitchenette. The décor and fixtures are a bit dated but that gave the place a 70s vibe that was just fine with me. Friendly manager. Great location with many nice shops and attractions within a short walk including Orchid Island Brewery and the Atlantic Ocean. 」
