Stayed here with family while attending our son's graduation. Very convenient location near the university and also close to shops. Perfect setup for our multi-generation family celebration, lots of space for a comfortable gathering. The kitchen is very well equipped, found everything we needed to cook a couple of big meals. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed the family friendly board games! Good communication with the host via text message. We had a few minor housekeeping concerns that we brought to the host's attention, he responded quickly and indicated that he will address these with his cleaners.

Nice place in a great spot. Perfect to visit Victoria, everything is near. Incredible coffe shop at 5 min walk. Clean place, with space inside AND outside to chill. The owner is really easy to join and he answer really quickly. Even the couchs are comfortable. I would definitely recommand this place

Had the entire upstairs. Place was clean, bright and roomy. Had other family in town and lots of room for visiting with them. Located on a quite street with lots of places for parking.

Great stay in Victoria

The apartment was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Nearest attraction was Mount Douglas with many hiking trails and a fantastic 360 degree view when reaching the top. One very good café is in walking distance. Getting to grocery stores requires a car. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The host was easily reached by phone throughout our stay.

Comfy Victoria house

This 2 bedroom 1& 1/2 bath house close to the university was well equipped for our stay. The beds and linens were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for a multi night stay. Both sittings rooms were bright. Our host was very responsive and helpful.

Home Away From Home

Stayed at Gordon Head Getaway for the better part of a week during spring break to visit our daughter going to school at UVIC. We picked up groceries and the kitchen was well equipped to prep and enjoy meals, beds were comfortable, everything was clean and well kept. The host Ryan responded quickly about anything. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay in a Comfortable and Well-Equipped Home

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The house was very comfortable, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and located in a quiet neighborhood with great parking. The multiple living areas were perfect for our group—two couples plus two family members joining us for meals—giving everyone space to relax and enjoy different activities. Communication with the owner was excellent; they were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Easter 2025

We were looking for a location close to our son who lives on Shelbourne. A great location as we could wander through Lambrick Park to get to Shelbourne. We arrived and were surprised by the amount of space we had. More room than the photos can show. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the shower was great! We were extremely comfortable and more than happy to be there.Ryan was great to deal with!

From the moment we walked in, we all felt very comfortable in this house. The layout was easy - just some stairs up to everything on one level. There is an ensuite powder room off the master bedroom which was perfect for the elderly family members we were travelling with. The second bedroom was also comfortable and had some fantastic books for kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. Two TVs with lots of options including in the back room which had a pull out Queen - my son did not want to leave. Comfortable couches and chairs to relax and spend time with our family. Well-placed night lights. If we had questions or issues, Ryan responded immediately. Only a few minutes away from Mt Douglas park with amazing views of the city and only 20 min drive to downtown Victoria. Groceries and other amenities also only minutes away by car.

Gordon Head Getaway

We had the pleasure of staying at Gordon Head Getaway. There were 6 girls staying together, and it was the perfect space for a bigger group. Ryan was a great host!! He was able to accommodate us pretty last minute which was very much appreciated. He was easy to communicate with, quick response time, and you could tell he wanted to make sure our stay was enjoyable. His house is very spacious, with two good sized living rooms. Good size bedrooms, comfortable beds, two TVs which came in handy when we wanted to watch different shows. The space was inviting, and very clean. Lots of attention to detail and decor which us girls could appreciate. Convenient location, quick drive to downtown and popular restaurants. Close to the water and walking trails. We tackled Mount Doug, so worth the effort, what a view!!! We would absolutely book here in the future.

This house was perfect for us. We wanted to spend time together and found the house very comfortable and spacious. We cooked our meals in the well equipped kitchen and played cards in the evening. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and the living room allowed for good quality family time together. Ryan was very helpful and responsive to any questions. Highly recommend Ryan’s rental!

Loved our stay!

Our family had an amazing time! The property has so much space, very clean and in a great neighbourhood. There is a huge park only a couple minute walk away, which was great for our almost 2 year old. Communication was amazing and we will definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend!
