「Priano is a lovely quiet town away from the maddening crowds in Positano, Amalfi etc, but those places are easy to get to from Villa Antica. Sitting on the wonderful patio, you hear nothing but local boys playing futbol after school on the courts below and church bells. Some great restaurants. Especially loved Il Pino and Kasai. 「Patio is perfect for all day sun with a big table in the shade. Easy walk down hill to restaurants etc. Local bus will take you up the hill for your return with a stop near the apartment. Residence is spacious, very clean and kitchen well equipped. Annamaria was very helpful with how to navigate for excursions. One thing to prepare for, it's 65 stair steps to the apartment but well worth it. I would definitely stay again!」

We enjoyed walking just up the street to have breakfast at the local cafe or dinner at the local restaurant, just as much as sitting on the patio enjoying a glass of wine and local meat we bought at the butcher who is across the street. 「Villa Lauro was a fabulous home away from home on the coast. We had no issues staying at the Villa. Giulia was a dream, and went above and beyond during our stay. From assisting us with a special birthday dinner one night at the villa to helping us locate and retrieve a bag that we left one night at a local restaurant, she was superb! It was very difficult to leave Villa Lauro. I hope to return to this very special place soon!」

「Our trip started with a pizza party with the host family. This was one of the biggest highlights of our trip! We had a great time meeting the host family and eating (and making) our own pizza. 「Praiano was the perfect town to stay in if you enjoy a quieter experience. Positano and Amalfi are 15 minutes away by car in each direction. We loved this property and the view of the sea from the large patio was such a bonus. Plenty of restaurants and bars within minutes of walking. Clean, and stocked with all we needed to cook meals etc.The bedroom is large with giant doors to another little patio. We will definitely miss our time in Praiano, it was amazing.」
