This chalet was extremely comfortable. It was easy to find with the hosts directions. The view was absolutely stunning, waking to morning fog obscuring the nearby summits, quickly burning off for the sun to spotlight the valley below. You can take time to visit Veysonnaz Cable Car during your travels to Veysonnaz. Discover the area's mountain views and seek out the ski slopes.
Expedia should indicate elevations on hotel listings in mountainous regions: if you figure out distances with Google Earth you get birds eye distances: Sion-Veysonnaz : 1.7 mile when by very windy roads and switchbacks the distance is 17 kms !
