Great location

Check in was simple but in email it said to check in at hotel next door and attachment to email said I needed a code which confused me. Turns out you check in at hotel and no code was needed. Room was comfortable and spacious with a nice kitchen. Note you need to wash and put away dishes. Location was great and walkable to large part of town.

Great stay. Checkin instructions communicated were incorrect. Tried calling the property and no one picked up. Eventually realized that check in is required at a hotel around the corner. Room has all amenities. Laundry was not working though.

The Westman Islends are an amazing area and a must do in Iceland. The hotel exceeded our expectations and the manager was unbelievably helpful. Only 2 disadvantaged that would not stop me from returning. Although the beds are very comfortable there is barely enough space to get out of bed:) and that could be a problem for heavier people especially when using the bathroom at night. The second issue is that they do not offer complimentary coffe and sugar in the room . We had our own coffee but I needed to go to the bar to ask for a couple of cubes of sugar which they kindly gave me. I would definitely return because the suite was comfortable and easy to prepare our meals

Clean, okay for quick, simple stays.

Clean place, the lounge with coffee facilities were nice. Bit of a ghost town as we didn’t see anyone else in the accomodation. We didn’t have our pre stay communication replied to. Communication wasn’t easy if you need anything special. You have to go to the nearby hotel to pick up the keys to this place as there’s no one on site and they have some kind of relationship. Light in the rooms if you need darkness to sleep. The third bed on the rollout wasn’t made, just the sheets left by the couch. Felt like a missed chance at being a bit more considerate and comfortable. Good kitchen in the room to cool for yourself.

The location was very tourist friendly - parking and walking everywhere was great. I just didn’t know when I booked it - I would be in a basement and at first that was very concerning. I feel like that should be noted -but the windows were large enough that I didn’t feel too claustrophobic. It was clean- had all the amenities however a boot rug under the coat rack would have been perfect to catch all the dirt and not spread it around the apartment. Over all would stay again.

I did not receive the email with check in instructions that Expedia said would come, but there was a sign on the door directing us to the hotel next door for questions and the woman at the front desk was one of the most pleasant people I have ever encountered and she straightened things out immediately.

These are Individual apartments. No doorman or traditional hotel amenities. Apartments are very clean, modern and in a great part of town. If you’re staying for any duration of time these are great as they have a full size kitchen. Would for sure stay here again.

Access to building is from the back side requiring more walking. It was unclear check-in was at the neighboring hotel until a note was found at the entrance. Newly redone, clean and near city center.

Property was clean. However there is no view at all and the room only had two tiny pillows. The bed was nice but having one tiny pillow each made it a really uncomfortable stay.

Nearly perfect.

Great studio style hotel with kitchenette and living area plus common area and a laundry, all centrally located with self check in. The only minor issue was insufficient window coverage letting in the light. During short nights it’s a bit of an issue.

We had 2 emails before we arrived, one from Heimleiga CS and one from Godo Property. Each assigned us a different room and key box codes. This was very confusing. The apartment was clean and new. Not a grain of salt or coffee on the premises so you need to take all the basics or else buy locally. Good blackout curtains and quiet at night. We could not get the tv to work but otherwise all was good. It is a central location and if you want to eat out there are several options close by. Heimaey itself is a lovely spot and we enjoyed our stay. 2 nights was perfect.
