Beautiful House in a good location

The house was very spacious, clean and very well appointed. It has all the equipment you need to enjoy a good stay including two Types of Bbq. But also Pool inflatables, ping pong table, games, tennis raquettes. The pool and the garden are very well maintained and very pleasant with shady areas. Vers-Pont du Gard is a beautiful village well located to visit the area .

The house was perfect for our holiday for two combined families (4 adults and 5 children ages ranging from 3-12). The kids loved the facilities and were always had something to do whether swimming, playing tennis, table tennis or even just chilling at the end of the day in front of the TV with Disney casting from our phones.The hot tub was lovely and really relaxing and warm.The kitchen had all the mod cons.We never used the BBQ - we couldn't figure it out - but had many lovely family meals around the long tables outside and sometimes inside.The location was brilliant. A fifteen minute drive from the lovely Uzes (and the Saturday market is recommended - intense but huge), walkable (15 minutes again, and there *is* a footpath - walk along the cycle path and look out for the gap in the hedge to the right) up to the village of Vers-Pont-du-Gard which has a lovely bar with local craft beers and a bakery which opens at 6.30. SMall but a really nice community feel.We walked to Pont du Gard - the Roman aqueduct (30 minutes through the roman-ruin-littered woods with our children 10 and 12 but my brother drove and parked with his 3 kids under 7) . It's a spectacular site. And you can paddle/wild swim if you prepare for a day. Avignon and Nimes are both half an hour drive (in opposite directions) as well as a number of water parks. We went to Kids Paradise for a morning which was a popular day with all!!Thanks for the fantastic holiday!! :)

Vores ophold i huset var fantastisk. Lige fra første henvendelse var der styr på det. Huset var skønt samt pool og tennisbane. Centralt for mange udflugter. Fantastisk service undervejs. Kun ros herfra !

Belle villa mais pas très fonctionnelle…

Les extérieurs de la villa sont magnifiques (piscine, jacuzzi, terrain de tennis, terrasses) et nous avons pu en profiter pleinement. Par contre, un gros bémol pour la villa en elle même qui n’a rien de fonctionnelle lorsque l’on part entre couples d’amis. La 1ere chambre au RDC n’a pas de porte donc aucune intimité (un simple rideau fait office de séparation), dans la chambre parentale il n’y a pas de volet aux fenêtres dans le coin SDB et il n’y a aucune cloison entre les toilettes et le coin chambre ce qui n’est pas très glamour… A l’étage, il y a une chambre dont les volets s’ouvraient automatiquement a 6h (impossible de retirer cette programmation) L’accès aux wc se fait obligatoirement par une chambre ce qui n’est pas très pratique lorsque l’on est une dizaine à séjourner dans la villa avec des rythmes de vie différent. Nous avons subi des problèmes de canalisation pendant le séjour (douche, baignoire et toilettes bouchées), entraînant des bruits et des odeurs très désagréables de jour comme de nuit. Heureusement, la conciergerie (Caroline et Patrick) a été très réactive pour résoudre ce souci de canalisation. Ils se sont toujours montrés disponibles et très agréables pendant la durée du séjour (bonne communication, bons conseils sur les visites à faire dans la région, réactifs…) Un séjour en demie teinte car nous avons connu du +++ comme du - - -
