  • Great little cabin just 20 minutes away from The Ark. Enjoy a peaceful night relaxing on the deck of this cute little cabin or play some games while waiting for your dinner to be cooked on the gas grill. Enjoy a game of ping pong at the pavilion or take a swim at the pool. The great cabin is just beside a little stream and next to the woods so you could take a walk and enjoy taking in the beautiful view.

We enjoyed our stay at this small cabin in a camp ground. If I owned this cabin I would give it some tlc in a few minor areas. Picnic table, mattress in main bedroom and pillows should be replaced. Kitchen was well stocked! It could use oven mitts. It was convenient to the main highway 75 and close to grocery store and restaurants. The Roku TV and internet worked great. We would recommend it 100%.

Cozy cabin

It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Very convenient for the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Enjoyed many of the restaurants nearby and loved the beautiful landscapes of Walton/Verona Kentucky. Would definitely stay again and refer to others

Great little cabin

This little cabin had everything we needed. Ideal location for visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter! It was a great week with grandkids and Gods blessings were definitely with us the whole time! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying at the Country cabin. The location was great for all the activities we had planned and we enjoyed family time in the cabin in the evenings. It would be great if you could add pegs or hooks to hang clothes. Otherwise, our stay was comfy and the cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable trip.

Great place to stay for visiting the creation Museum and Ark Encounter

It was a nice little cabin that had what we needed for our stay. The kids loved the bunk bed. The queen bed was pretty short and not that comfortable but it was fine. The cabin seemed pretty new and was clean. The kids liked the playground that was there in the rv park. This place was in between the creation Museum and the Ark Encounter that we were in the area to visit. There's a nice Kroger nearby that was great for getting groceries.

Nice place

All was nicely arranged and clean. Who do I contact with questions? My husband got sick and had to stay home so we didn’t bring our pet. Can I get refund of pet fee?

Family Time

Check in was easy. They had our name and information in the envelope. The office staff were very nice. They even offered us glasses to use during the eclipse. The location was perfect. The camp ground was peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean. This cabin was pet friendly. It was the first time that we took our little dog on a trip with us. She did very well. If we ever decide to visit this area again, we would choose to stay here. We did have to check out early, due to an unexpected death in my family, but we did not ask for a refund or anything. We were supposed to stay until Saturday, but we had to leave Thursday morning. I did let the office staff know that we would be leaving early and he told me where to leave the key, because we would be leaving before anyone arrived in the office. Overall, we had a good experience. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We were able to visit the Ark, Creation museum, and even went to a Cincinnati baseball game while we were there. We really enjoyed our family time.

Recommend-Cozy-Step up from camping

The cabin is small so it’s very cozy. Located in an RV park/campground, but we didn't have any problems with noise. It's also right off the highway and easy to find. Again even though it’s close to the highway there wasn’t a lot of traffic noise. It was very clean! It was chilly when we were there but in warmer weather, it would have been nice to sit outside on the porch or near the creek in the evenings. The cabin might be too small if you have rambunctious kiddos, but there's a playground onsite (at the front of the campground not within ear/eyeshot of the cabin) and just walking around the campground would be fun. The little creek is pretty. If you have clothes you need to hang you'd have to get creative as there are not any closets or hangers or anywhere to do so. The coffee maker is a Keurig with a seemingly random assortment of k-cups and there wasn’t any creamer. The kitchen is stocked with lots of utensils and pots and pans. We were able to make dinner and do dishes easily. Overall if you’re laid back and don’t need a lot of space this would be perfect. If you’re traveling with people who need a lot of personal space this wouldn’t be for you. We liked it. We were only around in the evenings and spent them just sitting and chatting and watching sports. There were a few board games available and it’s a nice cozy space for that too!

This cabin was the perfect centralized location for our trip. We visited The Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum, and spent a day in Cincinnati. After a day out exploring, it was nice to come back to the cabin and go play in the pool or on the playground. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

My three kids, under 10, and I had a great day at this little cabin. The check-in process was super easy and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was excellent, and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms. I have been to identical cabins in which we have had to supply our own bathroom towels and blankets. As far as the campground, although it is small and quiet during the season that we stayed, we thoroughly enjoyed the creek and the playground.

We were running a little late that caused us to arrive after closing. Contacted property manager and they provided easy instructions for us to pick up outside office upon our arrival. The self Check-in was very easy and smooth as well as check-out. Great stay for the three nights we were there.
