The property looks nice from the outside and is very clean on the inside and the staff is super nice but the rooms definitely need some updating. If they update the rooms it would be a 10/10

The beds at this location were so hard they caused pain. The motel was old but clean. It looks like they try to maintain the facility themselves. The floor tile in the bathroom wasn't attached to the subfloor. The towel rod in the bathroom was so unsteady, I was afraid to use it for fear that it would fall and I would be charged with the damage. If you bring a pet, bring cash. They look at the size of the pet and you pay them cash to have the animal there based on their opnion of it.

The rooms are very basic, but we had everything we needed for our stay. A really nice surprise was how comfortable the beds were. The motel is close to hiking trails. The parking lot for hiking Stairway to Heaven was a 2 minute drive from the motel. If you stay here in the winter, it is only a 5 minute drive from Mountain Creek ski resort. We would stay here again.

I had a late arrival due to unexpected delays. I kept in phone contact with the manager whom I was trying to keep apprised. When I finally arrived at 10.50 p.m. he was totally accommodating and personal escorted me to the room, turning on the lights for me. This exceeded the service I normally have been receiving in other types of hotel properties.
