"WOW! The villa was even better than in photos. We did not speak the same language as the hosts, but they did absolutely everything they could to make our stay perfect! "This Villa was the perfect escape while also close to some fantastic day trip experiences. I was lucky enough to have a wedding here and also one week stay with family. The hosts, Mirella and Francesco, were exceptional for both our stay and our wedding. The experience was unforgettable, and I cannot thank them enough. "We left a big piece of our collective hearts in Treppignana! The massive, rustic building was perfect for our family group. When you travel a long way (Canada and Norway) it’s great to be impressed and that we were! Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. It was a very personal experience. We had the pizza chef come to feed us one evening. This is most highly recommended. I got pretty good at driving the road up to the palazzo but I recommend two things: at first, don’t do it in the dark, and be sure to rent a narrow, sturdy vehicle. Overall a 10/10 unforgettable experience. "

"Relaxing, peaceful, remote location, which can be easily accessed from Pisa / Florence by car. Fantastic views across the valley. Hosts were great at communicating, before and during the stay. Would recommend for an older family that wants to get away from it all. "
