The kitchen was very well equipped for a simple quick meal, or for a full family dinner. More spacious than I expected, very quiet neighborhood, easy access to restaurants and beautiful beaches. Pool is all to yourself!

Home away from home.

This poolhouse was just perfect for us. It was well equipped for anything we could possibly need. The furnishings were very comfortable and the home was immaculate. The bonus was the grill and pool. We highly recommend this place to everyone.

Clean and tidy and excellent amenities

We were very pleased with the property. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Had a little problem getting the key out of the lockbox upon arrival but Carmen responded immediately and got it for us. She was an excellent host.

Awesome Place!

My family and I loved our stay. It was very close to the beach and it had a beautiful backyard pool as well. The home was pet friendly too so we were able to bring them and they had a blast. Super sweet host as well. We’ll definitely stay again! :)

We felt right at home. Nice layout for 2 people or a small family, very clean, comfortable bed, nice neighborhood and Carmen was very quick to respond whenever we had a question. Pool is not heated but super close to the beaches and shopping centers. We would stay here again when in the area.

We enjoyed our visit, and were pleased with the property and its location to places we wanted to go. The pool is a bit outdated and could use an update, and fix the pool lights. But otherwise for just the two of us, it was nice and Carmen and her husband were very friendly and Quick to respond when we had questions.

Home away from home

I enjoyed staying in this home. It was like a home away from home for me. A quiet neighborhood close to many different options for food and entertainment. The host is extremely nice and very communicative. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic stay!

We can’t say enough about how nice this home is. It’s one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed and just checked all the boxes for us! It was much more spacious than we expected and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in a convenient location, close to shopping, dining, and beautiful beaches! Great stay

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Well stocked with most things you would need, grocery store not far for specifics you might want. Comfortable furnishings too! The host was always quick to answer ant questions we had. Would recommend this home for anyone searching for a house close to things to do but far enough removed to be quiet and relaxing.

Old Florida vibe

There are a lot of pluses to this house in South Venice. The neighborhood was exceptionally quiet and conveniently located. The house was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with a lot of nice little touches. We appreciated allowing our dog to stay with us( and the yard is fully fenced). The outside could use a little TLC but that did not distract from our stay. We did not use the pool but it was nice sitting out back having our coffee This is a very good value for the price. Thank you Carmen! .

The only problem I had was this vacation is that we couldn’t stay longer we really enjoyed ourselves. I want to thank you very much for opening up your home to my family. Cozy place

Pros: livingroom and kitchen were fine. Older, but clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Area easy to beaches and shopping. Cons: yard needs TLC. Master bedroom access is through the only bathroom or through the other bedroom. No hall access. No problem for us, but if we were with another couple would have been very uncomfortable.

Loved our stay here!

This was a perfect rental for the month. Was able to enjoy it with my two dogs and then husband who flew in a few times. WiFi worked great on my days I had to work. Felt very safe in the neighborhood and spoke with a few of the neighbors who were all very kind. Carmen was a great host, very attentive when things came up. Back yard is fenced which was great for the dogs. Weather was amazing and was able to enjoy the pool. It is not heated which we did not mind one bit. I bought and left some pool floaties for future guests to enjoy! It flew by way too fast and we hope to stay there again in the future!

Christmas Getaway

The place was just what I was looking for!! Very very clean property and as soon as we walked through the front door, you could smell how clean/fresh the place was. The Host, Carmen was right on top of communication when I had questions. The location was central to many things. I would stay here again when I’m back in the area. Great place to stay

Had a nice stay visiting family for 3 days. Inside was very clean lots of amenities provided. Paper towels tp ect. Also had beach chairs umbrella and cooler. Though we had our own. Pool was nice but didnt use was little cool in evening and were gone during day. King bed was pretty comfortable for us Didnt use queen. Would stay again if in area.

Great stay

We had a very nice stay at Carmens house. We were close to the beaches and were able to enjoy the pool when we werent at the beach. The kitchen was 100% my favorite part as it is gorgeous! And we loved how close to everything we were. We were 15 minutes from the beaches and downtown venice. The only thing we wish was included in the description is that the owners stay on site on the otherside of the house. However they never bothered us while we were there, and Carmen was great about responding to anything needed. Will definitely stay again in the future.
