Motel 6 Venice, FL
Massive rainstorm and I was unlucky with a leak - but was moved to another room relatively quickly. Not a nice area but cheap.

Carlisle Inn
Stay was very good. Only complaint is that the beds were uncomfortable and breakfast is always the same and average not much variety. Property is closed to everything and only 10 minutes away from the beach.
